 Dr. Paul Forrester was a rocket engineer, who had
developed a special metal with an enormous potential for defense applications.
Naturally a lot of nations wanted it - the Pentagon, the Chinese, the
Soviets, and most of all, international racketeer and wheeler-dealer, Herman
Radnitz. But Forrester's mind had snapped when he had found his glamorous but
sluttish wife, Thea, in bed with his own chief assistant. He had ripped and
killed that man and had almost killed his wife, with his hunting knife. Now Forrester
is locked away in an exclusive asylum, closely guarded by the American government.
Somewhere, in his tortured mind, he holds the formula of the wonder metal ZCX.
To get him out and get at the decoded formula, Radnitz has to free him, and all
accomplices and accessories are to be found dead....
In the meantime, Forrester, who has a cyanide capsule in his mouth, also makes a demand to the US government that he would provide them with the decoded formula, if his wife was brought to him, and he was provided with a hunting knife, similar to the one he had used, to rip his assistant apart.... |
