The knowledge of the Fundermans or Fundermann in my family tree is very limited. This is all I have. If anyone has more, please e-mail me.

Diederich, sometimes found as Dietrich, Funderman was born November 13, 1816 in Prussia. He was married to Dora Kroeger. Dora was born December 2, 1833 in Holstein, Germany. Dora is also referred to Doris. According to the 1900 census for Otter Creek, Crawford County, Iowa, she immigrated to the United Stated in 1847. It also stated that she had been in this country for 43 years. So there is an error somewhere. Diederich died January 13, 1888. Dora died May 21, 1901. They are both buried in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery which is near Ida Grove, Ida County, Iowa.
