Brer Tales There are about 12 Brer Rabbit Stories, most of them the Julius Lester version. The Skater of Ghost Lake I first heard this haunting poem when I was 13; a little advanced for toddlers but 8 and up would probably enjoy reading or listening to it. Nursery Rhymes 1,
