ALPHA SQUADRON 2045 COMICS

In the future, Sizzle is called upon by ally Gaea of the Elementals and asked to help them get back home from the frontlines of WW3, humans v. mutants. Sizzle agrees that Electron and himself will go and get them, Sizzle not wanting the Alpha Squadron involved in the war. When they arrive, the Elementals had all been crucified, and Sizzle and Electron are attacked by soldiers in mechanical suits. They triumph, aided by old friend ShrapneL, and head back to the Alpha Mansion, just to see it destroyed and overrun with more Mechs than one could count. How will the AS fare? Not well. The Alpha Squadron lose 8 of their 21 members, causing the disbanding of the Alpha Squadron...until a few years later when Mech decides to start a brand new team, the Alpha Squadron 2045!
