BIOWhen Sizzle disbanded the Alpha Squadron, Mech refused to let it happen without a fight. When Sizzle returned from burying his wife, he tried to talk Sizzle out of it. Sizzle said nothing, just turned, handed Mech the deed to the Alpha Mansion, and left forever. Mech kept the Mansion up and running, but slowly, members of the team went their own ways until it was just him and his sister, Dymon, left. In the meantime, Mech used the mansion as a safe place for mutants, who mostly came and left quickly. Eventually, Mech started using the computer system to find mutants to start the team back up, believing that the Alpha Squadron had become a legend, and one he could not let be forgotten. With the help of Sizzle's son, Alpha, they started up the new Alpha Squadron. Electron offered to fund the new team, and through Electron, Mech found Sizzle and asked if he wouldn't come back to the Mansion to help train the new team. Sizzle, never having gotten over the death of his wife, refused, believing that death would always follow him wherever he went. On the first official day of the new Alpha Squadron, Mech's words got through to Sizzle and Sizzle stopped by, not to stay, but to wish him good luck, which meant the world to Richard. Richard and Sizzle still keep in limited contact. |
