The world has changed. For centuries, the dominant species on the planet was Homo Sapiens, but that is not the case today. Some have evolved. In the mid-twentieth century, humans with amazing powers began to appear in greater numbers. It happened slowly at first, but those with vision could see the writing on the wall. The time of Homo Sapiens was coming to an end, and the time of Homo Superior was dawning.
Following the end of the Mutant-Human War, and the victory of Magneto over the human and Sentinel armies, Sapiens were allowed to go about their lives. Many assumed Magneto would be a vengeful victor, but this was not the case. His vengeance was of a different variety. It was a quiet victory. His species, Homo Superior, would continue on, while the Sapiens would eventually fade away.
Today, normal humans are a minority in the new world order. While they are not a slave race, there is an understanding that this is the end of their time on the planet. Within two or three generations, human beings will be extinct.
