ABOUT MYSELF

LINKS

KL's oldest mosque rests on the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, KL's birthplace. It is inspired by the Moorish or the Indian Muslim style of architecture. The mosque is particularly jam-packed every friday afternoon, when Muslims gather to perform their prayers. (note: why friday?) During the month of Ramadhan (a holy month, according to the Islamic calendar, in which Muslims are required to fast from the break of dawn until the sun sets), the mosque officials will cook a special porridge for Muslims to break their fast after prayers.
