 KL's very own Chinatown, famed for its exciting night market, which opens until the wee hours in the morning, where one can find virtually anything and everything. The unequivocal oriental atmosphere is reflected in the way vendors unfurl their merchandise along the street. For the eager bargain hunters, your bargaining skills would be tested to the limit. There is also a wet market, which begins in the early dawn and ends in the afternoon, behind Petaling Street. Not for the faint-hearted foreign tourists, the wet market is genuinely wet underfoot, rank and filthy. But hey, your big O.E. wouldn't be complete if you skip this. |
