Old news...

*New Wilkinson song...it's called Words and Amanda sings lead. Might or might not be on their next album.
*The Wilkinsons new CD (not yet named) is due in stores early next year. A single should be released later this fall.
*The Wilkinsons took home the 2001 CCMA trophy for "Group of the Year". Congratulations! They also hosted the awards, and sang "Paper Doll".
*New songs you might hear are "Paper Doll", "I Gotta Get Outta Here", "Half Past Forever", "Change", and "Dallas Didn't Do It".
*The Wilkinson's are nominated for 3 CCMA's! Our favorite trio is up for "Fans Choice", "Group of the Year" and "Video of the Year" for 1999. Congratulations and best of luck to ya.

* The Word has won its first award! Thanks to all of you that voted we won "Best Fantasized Photo" in the 2001 Wilkinson Website Awards.

*The Wilkinson's are getting another dog.
*Giant Records is no more so The Wilkinson's have been moved to Warner Brothers Records.
*The Wilkinson's have a few other record labels looking at them right now :0)
*IWBTG was #7 on GAC this week (after being #3 the last two and #6 the week before that).
*Vote on http://www.countrystars.com and make IWBTG #1 in GAC's Top 15 poll. Vote as many times as you'd like, there is no limit.
*The Wilkinson's latest album, entitled "Shine" comes out May 22nd.
*The single "I Wanna Be That Girl" comes out April 3rd. (Radio got the song March 19th, the original release date that has now been pushed back 2 weeks)
*The video for "I Wanna Be That Girl" can now be seen on GAC. It was #14 on GAC's Top 15 this week! The video was shot in a laundromat and features Amanda with a love interest (actor Nicholas Preuitt).
*Sadly the Wilkinson's didn't make the final nominee cut for the TNN Music City News Awards but we're proud of them for making the semi finals!)
*The Wilkinson's Fan Club Party is scheduled for Monday, June 10th from 7-10:30 a.m at Hard Rock Cafe. There will be a breakfast, meet and greet, an acoustic concert, and other surprises. The Party is only for Fan Club Members and guests so join the fan club today if you haven't already. It's sure to be a blast! Michelle and I only wish we could go. Maybe next year!
*The Wilkinson's will be in the Cayman's again, the first week in August. Check 'em out if you can, it's sure to be a great few days of entertainment :0)
*The Wilkinson's have new bandmates. Welcome aboard Tom Bentley on keyboards, Kevin Arrowsmith on fiddle, George Lawrence on drums, and Mark Easterling on guitar. Chad Jeffers and Dancin' Joe are still with the band :0) Brian Franklin left to go with Kenny Rogers and Jowl Stevenett with Jo Dee Messina.
*The Wilkinson's horse Lakota is pregnant! They are expecting one (maybe even two) baby horses in June and will be having a contest to name it :0)
*Congratulations Wilkinson's! They won a Juno for "Best Country Group or Duo" :0) The awards were televised on CBS in Canada on March 4th!
*Sadly the Wilkinson's lost the Grammy for Best Country Performance By A Duo or Group (Jimmy's Got A Girlfriend) but we're proud of them for getting nominated. Way to go!
*The Wilkinson's were on the Opry February 3rd with the TV premiere of "I Wanna Be That Girl" and singing "26 Cents" as well. They sang at the other show that nite too but instead of "26 Cents" sang "Real Bad Mood". They also chatted with fans on Grand Ole Opry Chat on Feb. 2nd and sang on the show then.
