Kolej Za'ba with a total of about 50 staffs is
managed by a Board Of Governors. The members of the Board being elected by the
Students' Affairs Department of University Of Malaya, consists of University
officials and members of the academic staffs.

Za'ba has something for everyone's interests. For the sports freaks, there are
the basketball, tennis and badminton courts. Many a champion was born on these
courts, and it is small wonder that the residents of the college horde the
trophies every year during the Inter-Colleges' Games in the University Of
Malaya.
Kolej Za'ba houses 600 students comfortably in 296 rooms. Each room is divided
into two by a large wardrobe, and room-mates can enjoy each other's company
while at the same time, having all the privacy they need. Basically there are
164 rooms for the male residents and 132 rooms for female residents. These rooms
are generally occupied by the students during the semester, but are available
for rental during the holiday seasons (subject to availability). Private
companies and student societies frequently rented rooms for their staff/members
who attend seminars and forums held either in the college itself or in the
University.
Beside the rooms for students, we also have Special Supervisors Flats which
comprise of a spacious hall, a room, a kitchen and a bathroom. A Guest room is
also available for specially invited guests and visitors.

Kolej Za'ba has the facilities and state-of-the-art equipments for all events
ranging from camps to conferences.The College is equipped with a multipurpose
hall that could fit up to 500 people with built-in Public Adresss System (P.A.
System), a stage and ballroom lighting. Among all the residential colleges in
University Of Malaya, only Kolej Za'ba can boast of its open-air theatre for
cultural performances. Specially designed seats in a horse-shoe design could fit
up to 150 sitting spectators, while the standing room accommodates 100 more...
For seminars and meetings to be held, Kolej Za'ba has several meeting rooms and
Operation offices. Seminar packages are available to increase flexibility. Basic
packages offers accommodations, the basic sports and recreational facilities,
food for 3 meals a day, as well as meeting rooms.
On top of all these interesting services and facilities, Kolej Za'ba provides
one of the most excellent catering services for all types of functions, ranging
from elaborate luncheons, buffets and dinners, to simple take-aways.
Furthermore, the catering service is not confined to functions
Kolej Za'ba is strategically located on a downhill slope which ease
accessibility. It is also located at a very short distance from the main gate of
the University thus provides good transport facilities to the college. Kolej
Za'ba is well equipped with communication facilities, such as public phone
booths (which accepts Credit Cards and permits International Direct Dialing
(IDD) calls), a fax machine, access to the Internet with an electronic mailing
account, and several advance computer system. On top of this, a Tuck shop in the
college provides all the little odds and ends that would otherwise require one
to travel into town to purchase. This tuck shop has everything from nuts and
needles to friendly smiles.
