Iowa TV DX Pictures

    All of the following DX pictures on this page were taken with the ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Video Card TV Tuner.  The antenna used was a Tandy VU-190XR with an Archerotor at about 20' agl, and with 50' of RadioShack RG-6. 
    Iowa is the third easiest state to DX from this location.  Distances generally are in the 300-360 mile range, although Mason City, IA (KYIN) is 236 miles distant and the Quad Cities and Ottumwa are around 385 mi.  The most common log is KMEG from Sioux City, which has been seen here in January.
