I learned the very begining of the routine today. Very interesting. The first two sets of sixteen counts are spent in dance. I wish I didn't always feel like an idiot when I did it, lol. I went to my dad's house today after flag practice. My dad told me I'm going to have to work hard to earn back the money he's spending to take me to flag camp :/. I have to do different chores and I'll earn $20 for each chore. Sigh~ oh well, flag camp will be worth it :), I hope...

SIGH~

Chenxia left for China today. After she gets back from her trip she's going straight to Alabama :(. I'm going to miss her so much. I'm going to miss all our inside jokes, her humor, but right now, I miss never giving her a hug before she left. I missed that opportunity. I don't think I've ever hugged her before...:/. Now I'll never get the chance to. I'm going to visit her in Alabama! Yea! and check out the condemned library and the DDR machines ;), heh heh. I hope Chenxia has an awesome time in China and Ark better go online during their trip and let me talk to her :P.

Flag practice was the highlight of my day :). The routine is so awesome, but I'm getting a little tired of the song >_<. Heh, it's stuck in my head (this tends to happen if you listen to it repeatedly, say 100 or so times...) Near the end of practice, we went through the whole routine and at times I completely blanked and forgot what I was supposed to do, oy x_x. Hopefully I'll be able to remember when we have to perform it. I know I know the routine (did that make sense?), but I just need to be able to do it under pressure :P.

Today was a lot better :). My mom agreed to take me to flag practice. I arrived a little late and I couldn't find where practice was being held @.@! I must have looked like an idiot in my t-shirt and shorts, carrying a little backpack and asking a few random people, "Do you know where flag practice is being held?" At this point they looked at me like I was in the wrong place and said, "What?!?" @.@. Finally, another fellow flag peep found me and said that practice was being held in the theater stage area. (NOW they tell me! @.@) Practice was a lot of fun ^^;;. We learned the beginning of our routine for flag camp. It goes to the song "It Aint Over Til It's Over" by Lenny Kravitz. It's an ok song. Kind of fits...I've listened to it over and over (I'm being brainwashed, help! lol). Afterwards, I came home. That was my day, the end.

Today was horrible, one of the worst days of this year. It all started when my mom was cleaning up the house. She came across a piece of paper that I wrote some of my sins on over a year ago. She started asking me questions and she got mad at me because she thought I was "hiding" something from her @.@. I got mad at her and accused her of invading my privacy by going through my stuff. She basically yelled at me and said she had the authority over me and that she had a right to look through my stuff. She then started saying I had more loyalty for my friends then my own mom :(. ::SIGH:: After she finished shouting, she told me I couldn't go to flag line camp and that I was grounded from AIM for a day. I stiffly got up and walked to my room and got ready for the flag practice that day. About 15 minutes before it was supposed to start, I walked up to my mom and she had a bunch of papers in her hand; my TAAS scores. She said, "You got a perfect score on everything except science. Why is that? Science is your weakest area, why did you miss five answers?" All I could mutter was I didn't like earth science to begin with. She was mad I failed to get academic recognition on science. Then I mentioned I had to go to flag practice at five and she flately told me that I wasn't going. Then I started following her around the house begging her to take me. She told me that I didn't listen to her earlier and how could I expect her to take me. She said I only saw her as an "errend girl." I guess to some degree I deserved that, but I was too upset to think about it. After 15 minutes after the practice started I started crying, screaming, and sobbing. My mom just looked at me and said that I needed to learn a lesson and that she didn't care if I thought she was evil or something. I fell to the floor in the middle of the hallway and cried for a few minutes and she just went off to her office. In retaliation I locked myself in my bathroom since my room didn't have a lock anyway. I sat in the dark for about five minutes, then I got up, retrieved my phone, returned to my bathroom, locked the door, and called Christine. I feel so grateful for Christine :), she sat through over and an hour of me crying over the phone to her about how unfair my life was and how at that very moment it just seemed to hit rock bottom. After I hung up, I wasn't crying anymore, but my masara was smeared all over my face (lol). I got out of the bathroom when my mom asked me to make my bed. After I did that, I just started playing some games on my computer and kept to myself. After dinner, my mom and I talked about camp and she said she wanted to talk to the instructer. I called the captain of the team and asked her what I missed then got the instructer's number. After my mom called, all I had to hold onto was hope. I hoped she would allow me to have the time of my life for only three short days at camp. Seems kind of pathetic now that I think about it, but I've never really been away from home before and I think that's what I need. Time away from home...

Today was awesome :)! Miachel and Chenxia came over to my house so that Andy could pick us up and take us to Stonebriar to see a movie. Before hand, we talked to Andrew and Daniel. LOL, I think they kind of scared both guys. "Shy gay girls" hahaha. I'm the only "sane" one ;). Andy picked us up and took us to the mall where we met Christine and Daniel Jeng. We went to see the movie About a Boy, which was hilarious. I'll write a review on it later. When the movie ended, we ventured off to the food court and some of us (the girls) ate from Chik-fil-a. After about thirty minutes in the food court and snapping pictures of people, LOL, we walked to Sam Goody to look at music and the games. Around 5:00 everyone left, and Andy and I were picked up by his parents and taken to the Chinatown in Richardson. We ate at this restaurant called Jeng Chi (I THINK). They had really good dumplings :). Dinner was kind of ackward for me because I barely said anything and it seemed quiet. I don't know, I had a lot to think about anyway. Afterwards, Andy and his parents dropped me off at home and I got online. Soon, I called Christine and we talked for a couple of hours. I'm glad I got a chance to talk to her :). After we hung up, we talked on AIM and tried to come up with new screennames, lol. "Faerie Meatloaf" "Earwax Wing" Pshh, why did the name "Aquarius Charm" have to be taken? Hmph, oh well.

I woke up fairly early then usual :) and my sisters left to go to Chicago with my step-mom, so there was actually silence in the house. My dad and I went to see Spiderman, which was still fantastic (even on the third time ;D). Then my dad and I took the Dart rail to Mockingbird. Along that street, there are a bunch of lofts with really expensive stores. We just looked around before we went to Jason's Deli for lunch. Their French Onion soup is really good :). We came back home to rest a little bit. I convinced my dad to take me to the arcade at RSM to play PuMp O:), he was curious how the machine worked I was just going to demonstrate ;D. So I played my first game, and my legs nearly buckled from exhaustion (that was after my fourth round, I was playing "Take On Me", which is really hard and wears you out from all the different dance steps.) My dad therefore bought me a smoothis :D, and I took a break. Before we left I played another game, and these kids were distracting me because they were stomping (notice I didn't say "stepping") on the squares. ArGh, it was the most irritating thing. I went home afterwards, then Andy came over before we went to church. When we came back, we watched Lion King and looked for subliminal messages, lol. Very interesting. Then I annoyed Christine a bit, but she knows that I'm only looking out for her "best interests," RIIIGHT? ;D EgAdS!

Today I went to my dad's house. I'm so glad, I haven't seen him for two months practically! :) He took me and my sister downtown to see Attack of the Clones. *Haha* Sometimes my four-year old sister would get scared and she would yelp, "I'm tired!" "I wanna go home." "I want mommy!" ".The monsters will get me." "It's scary." Awww, wel, she was able to sit through the movie despite her fear :). After the movie, we toook the Dart Rail to ex-Planet Hollywood where the Planet Hollywood was turned into an arcade and mall type center. My sister and I ventured off into the arcade, and they had a PuMp machine! A DIFFERENT version PuMp machine! Guess what...they're ONLY, DIFFERENT version PuMp machine was BROKEN! ARGh @.@, WHY does this seem to happen if the arcade isn't CyberZone?!? (I think it's a conspiracy). Hmph, oh well I still had a good time without playing PuMp :D. After we spent the last of what was on our game card, we went outside to find a band setting up to play. My dad suggested we sit down to listen to them. As I listened to their first song, I couldn't help thinking that it sounded familiar. *Hehe* Their song was played on the EDGE. I heard a band play live that I've heard on the radio, how awesome is that? :P I don't know what their group name was and I'm not even sure what the title of the song was (I THINK it's "Glistening in the Sun" I'm not sure...), but it's the song that goes...

I'm high as a kite
and I just might
stop to check you out

That's the only part I remember, but if I heard it on the radio I could recognize it and point it out :D.

YAY! First day of freedom :D. Today, I went to RSM to hang out with Chenxia, Christine, Miachel, Leila, and the Nicoles. We all got together for a "going-away" party for Chenxia since she will be leaving for China on the 30th, then move to Alabama afterwards :(. I'm going to miss her so much! When Christine, Leila, and I got to RSM we didn't see anyone yet, so we layed a couple games of PuMp O:). We decided to look for our friends at Cute Things, which is a picture place/asian gift shop. We arrived in time to see Nicole B. have her pictures taken (you can see them in the gallery). Christine and I decided to have our pictures taken, too (*hehe*). We had to wait 30 minutes for the pictures to develop, so we went to the food court where we watched Chenxia open her presents :). Lots of torn wrapping paper later, we cleaned up our mess O:D and went back to look at our pictures. I don't like the picture that I chose to have wallets made of (the rose one) but my friends insisted :/. Heh, oh well, if they say the rose one was the best one, I guess it was. We went to CyberZone, an arcade, and played a lot of games of PuMp. I'm so happy, I got a "B" on a song I usually fail *^.^*. Basically the rest of the day we periodicaly went back to Cte THings to check on pictures that developed and played PuMp. I even tried DDR, which was interesting, lol. I want to improve at DDR, it's more of a challenge then PuMp now, but I like PuMp still because I'm better at it :D. Nicole B. and Chenxia tried the hand game, ParaPara, and even managed to put their initials on the high score list! LOL, goes to show that the game isn't played that often. After we (Christine and I) left RSM, we went to Andrea Plybon's pool party. It was awesome, and the pool wasn't freezing either :). Her dad grilled us some hamburgers and we sat by the pool. Then we sat in the hot tub for awhile. Later we decided to watch Goldeneye, so we went inside and watched about 20 minutes of that before we went back outside to roast marshmellows for s'mores (*mmm*). Pretty good for the first day of freedom, would't you say? :D :P

SCHOOL IS OFFICIALLY OVER (for two and a half monthes or so..) :D!! ArGh, my mom was late, so Leila and I had to walk home from school! @.@ We walked by our elementary school and we wanted tosya good-bye to our fifth grade teachers who are retiring, but the elementary school didn't have early release today :/, oh well. Right now I'm watching Rosie O'Donnell, waiting for 7:00 to arrive *HEHE*. I went to Miachel's annual end-of-the-year swimming party! I had so much fun burning school papers, hot dogs, and marshmellows :D. Ehh, I smell like smoke from the bonfire now @.@, lol. I basically gossiped near the end of the party, *tee hee hee* so much fun. Chenxia kept poking me and I kept screaming and falling over in a lawn chair, lol. I ATTEMPTED to take a picture of christine (aka Mother Theresa, hahaha...). We'll see how the film develops ;D. I'll have more pics to add to my site at least.

YES! I have 4 exams out of the way, and only ONE more to go (English) :P. Argh, can you believe it? We have a project due in health on the last day of school @.@! Go figure, ugh.

May 21, 2002

Today was pretty crummy too. ::sigh:: Oh well, I'm feeling a little better. Out of all my friends, I want to thank Miachel for noticing my new hair cut and I want to thank Nicole N., Christine, Iris, and Daniel for complimenting my new hairstyle, this may sound corny, but it really does mean a lot to me and I appreciate your thought and consideration :D. Thanks for taking the time to make a little comment that helped lift my day tremendously.

ArGh! I made an 86 on my algebra exam x_x!!

May 20, 2002

I had a BAND exam today. What a joke, all we had to do was play three scales, super easy :D.

Today sucked. There's no better way to put it. It wasn't until my mom took me to get my hair cut did things start to improve :). Around 4 o'clock I went to Judy's A+ Salon and cut my hair about three inches; about shoulder length now :D. After that, my mom also got a hair cut and we returned my overdue books O:D. My mom took me shopping for a bathing suit (it's summer ;D). I was being picky, and it wasn't until we made our fourth stop did I find the perfect bikini :). When I got home, I finished Moon Demon from The Daughters of the Moon series. The book was pretty good; that series is awesome. Anyways, today was awesome, I didn't have to study because i have no exams tomorrow! *Hehe*

Only 4 more days of school! ::SIGH:: Some may think the end of school is awesome (and it IS, don't get me wrong), but I find it a little depressing :(. In 4 days I'm going to say good-bye to Chenxia, who is moving to Alabama. In 4 days I'm going to say good-bye to my friend Sue, who's going to Jasper. In 4 days I'm going to say good-bye to my life as an eigth grader and return to school as a FRESHMAN at high school, where all your grades count on your transcript, where in 4 short years we'll be heading out into the world, going to college, and hoping that somehow we can each make a difference in this world. Thinking about all this makes me feel really old...>_<.

Flute festival ALL day long ::tired out::. WHY ME?! I wish Mrs. Valliant hadn't signed Sophia and I up for flute choir. The most irritating thing in the world (not to mention tuning...) We sounded so HORRIBLE. *Hehe* I'm so *wicked/naughty* O:) ::angelic innocence:: During the flute choir performance I played wrong notes on purpose to make things more "interesting"...LOL! During the last song I was laughing really hard (silently, or as close to being silent as I could...) so I didn't play too much of the song. Seriosuly, the flute choir was a waste of time. I wanted to leave, but Sophia insisted on staying, so I made my stay "pleasurable" ;). I went to the exhibit and that was awesome. A variety of flutes just sitting on tables that anyone can just pick up and play (after sanitizing it with an alcohol swab of course...). That was the most interesting part of the festival :D. After playing my duet with my friend Sophia and my solo, I left around 5:00. Do you know how long I stayed at UNT?!? I stayed for 7 AND 1/2 FREAKING long hours!! @.@ Festival was interesting, but next time I'm not doing flute choir and I'll actually listen to the concerts. I really wanted to hear Rhonda Larson and Brad Gardner play, but NOOOOOOOO, I had freaking flute chior that sucked even without my wrong notes because no one had the faintest idea what they were doing and there were too many people anyway.

When I got home, I waited about an hour before Andy picked me up to see Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. That was a great movie! I'll post up a review with pictures and everything later :D. After the movie, Andy's mom took us to Java or something. It's a café, and from what I saw and from what Andy told me, it's a "hang out" place for azian mafias from PSHS. I swear, when I walked into the coffee shop about 99.9% of the people were azian teenagers. About 70% of them were playing poker/cards/dominioes and gambling or something. It was really freaky. So many azians!! 0.0 ::eyes pop out:: lol. The pearl milk tea that Andy's mom ordered for me was really good! You get a really think straw (I'm not kidding, this sucker is like a centimeter in diameter) :). *Hehe*, that was my day. Interesting, wasn't it? BTW: I'm not stalking Jocelyn @.@! LOL.

May 17, 2002

*YES*! ::evil laugh:: NO more French (until Aug. 12 ;D)!! I get to sleep in Monday and Tuesday (on EXAM WEEK), isn't that glorious? :D ArGh! Flute Festival tomorrow @.@. I hope it's as good as Mrs. Valliant SAYS it is...(you never know if you can believe anything from her...). I didn't practice...:D ::guilt/shame::.

Stupid EOC, argh, stupid FOIL method, ehhh, stupid factoring, @.@, stupid quadratic formula...(took the Algebra exam today ;D).

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
May 16, 2002

I did half of my French exam :). It was easy. Tomorrow I take the eoc for Algebra and the last half of French. *Hehe* after that I'll only have to worry about THREE exams next week :P

I went to Chris's house and played PuMp! *HEHE* LOL ROFL! My mom TRIED to play PUMP (and didn't succeed) *HAHA* She was worse then Christine when she played and she had a hand on her hip wehn she danced, so she looked like an old granny having seizures or something. LMAO! Too funny...:P :D

Good job Yoshi! Show those naive lil' "inexperienced" clarinet players where they belong ;). Good job to Daniel too for his oboe try-out :).

YES!! NO MORE ESSAYS FOR ME (this semester)!! Now all I have to worry about are my exams @.@. Tomorrow is the French exam ::gulp:: I wonder if ti will be easy or hard...*Hehe* after friday, I won't have French and I can sleep in the last week of school!! Hmm...I have a bunch of yearbooks to sign, but I keep forgetting to sign them ::sigh:: Sorry!

*HEHE* One essay down, one more to go. >whew< I'm so glad I don't have to worry about my English essay anymore (only my history essay now, which I haven't STARTED "technically" @.@) I had my band concert today. We didn't play our songs as well as we could have, but oh well :P. I stayed up until 11:40ish trying to write the rough draft of my history essay and I realized that Chenxia has the second page of my essay!! @.@ ArGh! I hope she has it, (my 2nd and 3rd paragraphs are on the second page). For now, I'll just start on the fourth paragraph ::sigh::.

STRESS STRESS STRESS!! Stupid exam essays, I still haven't started on my history essay which is due Wednesday! @.@ ::sigh:: Oh well, I'm sure I'll be fine ::gulp::. Band concert is tomorrow, be sure to come (or not)!!
*Hehe* I brought two yearbooks home with me to sign because I didn't have time at school, how sad is that?!?

I don't remember what I did today...

Oh yeah, i went to Sophia's house so that we could practice our duet for the flute festival this Saturday @.@. I also played with her mom, who is my accompanyist for my solo. Afterwards, I rushed to Andy's house and picked him up to take him to see SPIDERMAN with me! *Hehehe* I love that movie! (Oxygen in use) Eventhough my mom was with us, we still had a *good* time ;D. FOr mother's day, i gave my mom a crystal cross with a rose :). Over all today was pretty good, except tomorrow my English exam essay is due and I haven't worked on it all weekend!! @.@

OMGOSH! I WOKE up at 8:30 and the band leaves for Six Flags at 9:00! I'm so lucky I caught the bus before it left. *Hehe* I had so much fun at Six Flags!!

Rides I rode:

Batman
Mr. Freeze
Titan
Flashback

Oh yeaaa, we rode the top three roller coasters! We only had to wait 30 minutes to ride the Titan. Titan was so awesome, it kicks total ass (so did Mr. Freeze and Batman ;D)! Good thing Daniel's ear didn't rupture. LOL, help I'm drunk!! While waiting in line for Mr. Freeze, we hummed all our band tunes and played hand games...yep, we were BORED. LOL, we stood in line for over an hour for a 40 second ride! After aimlessly walking around the park for awhile, Sophia, Leila, Christine, and I have a caricature done. *HAHA* We look the same except *I* look EVIL for some reason ::innocent smile >:D. I'll post the picture up later.

Upon returning from Six Flags, it took me about an hour to get ready for Nicole B.'s party O:). Everyone betted to see how late I would be!! ::fake shocked expression:: Hehe, Nicole N. won the bet I think. After I arrived, we went to Tinseltown to watch SPIDERMAN!! YES!! That movie was so AwEsOmE (I'll put up a review on it later...)Web Power! Fly! Go, web, Go! LoL! Go see it. After going back to Nicole's house, we had Nicole open her gifts then watched a movie, played Donkey Kong on N64, and played chess (some of us at least :P).

Flag line try-outs today! SO nervous ::shaky smile:: wish me luck!

(Few hours later)

YAY YAY YAY!!! OMG OMG OMG! I made flag line!! :D ::HUGE GRINNING:: That's so awesome! No more pressure on me for auditions! I can sit back, relax, and go to Six Flags tomorrow!

Once the initial excitement wore off, my mom told me she refused to allow me to go to flag line camp over the summer, meaning I might have to drop out of flag line :( ::pout::. Why does my mom have to be an over protective parent?!?!?!? Gosh, I HATE that!!! Oh well, ::sigh:: I'll try to convince her otherwise. I went shopping for my friend Nicole Berdy's birthday gift. That helped take my mind off my problems for awhile :).

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
May 9, 2002

No flag line today ::pout::. Oh well, we get a little break before the audition...::nervous laugh:: try-outs tomorrow! I hope I do everything well and I don't screw up.

Nothing much today except the Paul McCartney concert! I'll tell you about that tomorrow, I probably won't get home until really late

Flag line is going so well for me! Auditions are Friday @.@ >_<. So nervous, heh heh. I'm sure I'll be fine. We went over the across the floors again and learned our routine. HAHAHA, our instructer brought her GAY (literally) guy friend to help us. OMGOSH, he was so good. LOL! It was scary watching him expertly twirl the flag and do a bunch of jazz runs/walks. HAHAHAHAHA!

Played with full orchesta at a church for a festival. We played fairly well (AFTER I was cut out of this annoying run I couldn't play @.@. Oh well, I seriously NEEDED to be cut out, so I don't care). I played my solo very well >^.^<. Full orchestra got a I, oh yeah, go us :D!

May 7, 2002

Flag line was interesting...*Hehe* We learned how to do jazz walks and jazz runs @.@. LOL! They make you look like a chicken. It's so weird. YOu feel ridiculous doing them. I kind of have the hang of it ;D. We also learned how to do a windmill. ArGh, i don't quite have the hang of it yet, I keep hitting my head @.@. Angela Yu is this AWESOME flag. She's so nice! >^.^<

My dad is taking me to the Paul McCartney concert Thursday, tell you about it on Friday ;)!

FLAG LINE CLINIC TODAY!! ::ECSTATIC:: SO AWESOME! I want to make flag line so much :). *Hehe* it was a lot of fun today, we learned how to do "drop spins" (not too difficult >^.^<) We got to take home the flags to practice with (*MUAHAHAHAHA* they trust ME with a 5'5" METAL pole?!?!)
P.S. - Hit my cat doing a drop spin (innocent smile :D)

Did my presentation on 1960s music, it was a little dippy, oh well.

STRESS STRESS STRESS!! I TRIED to work on my PACE project again on the plane home but I took another NAP @.@! LOL, oh well. After I came home, I went straight to MJDesigns to buy a poster board, then I went to JoAnne hoping to find some tie dye fabric to glue to my poster board. Did I? Nooo...they don't carry tie-dyed fabric (WTH?), so I bought this ugly fabric that would have been perfect for the 60s instead :P. I came home, printed off my notes and some major kewlio looking titles, glued everything to my poster board, then downloaded a bunch of Beatles and Bob Dylan songs and made a CD >whew<. All finished by 1:00ish.

The wedding was nice. Took TONS of pictures (what do you expect from family?? :P) Afterwards, we returned to the hotel, went to this MINI mall (and I'm not kidding either, it was TINY! like the MIDDLE section of Stonebrair!). Scary, the mall trip was actually BORING! I mean all we did was go to a lacrosse store and look at lacrosse stuff (VERY boring). We came back to the hotel then went to a chinese restaurant where we had sweet and sour chicken (or at least I did :P)! *YUM* Hehe, stayed up late some more and procrastinated on my PACE project, all in a hard day's "work" ;P.

Stayed up until 2:40ish finishing my English assignment (still didn't finish it btw...) @.@ (Hehe, you would know if I sent you my quiz ;D). I woke up around 8:00 (I SLEPT IN!!) and worked on my paper until about 10:00ish. Packed all my clothes and "junk" then set off to Haggard to turn in my work. Afterwards, my uncle drove us to the airport where we waited until 2:00 or so for our plane to depart. Plane ride was boring, I was going to work on my PACE assinment (but didn't :P), instead I ended up napping O:). When we arrived in Baltimore, we rented an awesome looking (LOOKING) metallic crimsonish/red Dodge Strata. After driving around aimlessly for awhile, we found the church where we were supposed to meet and had dinner with my uncle, his fiancée, and our family. Chris was very hyper (as well as Caitlin) LOL! We stayed up watching Charmed and Gilmore Girls tapes (that Chris brought) in our hotel room :D; so much fun.

Wow, it is my 5 month anniversery with Andy :). Oh well, too bad we can't get togther to do anything. I have two killer projects due soon @.@ and a wedding to go to. >WHEW< I think I can handle it...

Now that flute try-outs are over, I can start getting excited about flag line clinic and auditions next week!
Tomorrow I play with the orchestra in full orchestra at their concert...so please, COME! I have to work on this English project where we examine our family history. Kind of interesting, now if I only had something interesting to write about ::sigh::. I think I'll be alright, except the assignment is due on Friday, but I'm LEAVING friday to go to Baltimore for my uncle's wedding, so lucky me, (lucky lucky me), *I* get to turn mine in tomorrow ::fake smilie face::.
