FAVORITES.  This is a list of my likes and dislikes. I love a good laugh. If I die laughing (not by tickling though)I'll die a happy girl.

MUSIC.  I won't lie. I'm narrow minded when it comes to music.   You won't find me banging my head anywhere.  Anyway, while Eighties music, in my opinion, will never go out of style (Depeche Mode, Erasure, U2, New Order rock!), I always gravitate towards the top 40.  I am a fan of pop culture. My ultimate favorite bands include Jars of Clay jarspic.jpg (12663 bytes)
and No Doubt.  Currently, I listen to a lot of Christian singers including Jennifer Knapp, Jaci Velasquez, and Nicole Nordeman. I also enjoy distinct female voices such as Deirdre O'roirdan from the Cranberries, Natalie Merchant, Sixpence None the Richer's Leigh Bingham, and of course, Gwen Stefani of No Doubt.

MOVIES.  Top 5 movies of 2000 (don't believe me if you liked EVITA):  1. Gladiator 2.Almost Famous 3. Cast Away 4. Unbreakable 5. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

Here is another insight into my personality.  I love Anne of Green Gables.  I have memorized a few scenes in Anne of Avonlea and have made all my close friends watch that four hour flick with me just so they could experience it for themselves.  Unfortunately, it was a waste of time.  No one loved it as much as I did.  Anne of Green Gables fans, are you out there?

TV.  This is a bad habit. Don't do it for more than 1 hour a day!  I say that to myself all the time, but do I listen?  It merely has become something to do when I'm not studying.   It's so great to be a passive potato sometimes.  Ahh . . . but I always feel guilty and sometimes nauseated.  I am not a faithful fan of any show, but shows that I tune in more regularly than

others are Frasier and Friends. I was good and cut down on hour long shows like Ally McBeal, and ER during 3rd year med school.

BOOKS.  The most inspirational book ever will always be THE BIBLE.  What?  Yeah, i do find time to read it when I'm not watching tv.  come on.  I'm not that bad.  But seriously, if you've never read from The Bible before, pick it up.

My favorite book is Jane Eyre.  I've read it 3 times and i still cry.  I've always been a hopeless romantic which is why I loved Anne of Avonlea.  No Wonder they call Him Our Savior by Max Lucado is another inspirational book that I have read several times.
