"Q" LITTER
Naming your pup: We have pick some names out for this litter, if you would like one of her pups but have a different 'R' name just let us know and we will change the paperwork. Picking the name early helps in the imprinting of the Pup. We are able to call them by names and they know them before they leave here. Please have a name by 6 weeks of age or we will name the pup for you. This will be the pups registered name, you may have a "call" name that you use on a daily basis if you like. Thank you.
6/7/03 UPDATE: For those of you who have picked a Dharma puppy and knew this was going to be the "R" litter, we lost Judy's litter to "fading puppy syndrome". I have never dealt with this before and didn't get much info from the vet. I have been talking to other breeders and specialist on this and have found how to prevent or at least save some of the pups. It is caused by a bacterial imbalance in the female and with meds during breeding and whelp you can prevent this from happening. I have been treating Kety and Dharma since I found out what to do. These pups are very strong and big. We will be watching them very closely and taking all the necessary precautions to protect this and all other litters.

QUAN (Means "soldier" in Vietnamese.) QUANAH (Pronounced: KWAW-na)
Means "fragrant" in the Comanche language. This was the name of a 19th-century chief of the Comanche.

All of these girls have a great deal of red to them. Dharma really brings this out. Two of the sables have more red to their color and I marked them as Red Sables. This is the blackest sable that we have ever produced. He is going to be very dark. He also has a great deal of red to him. He will be a very good looking boy.
6/18/03: All the pups are doing well, and are very active and healthy.
Dharma did a great job. These are very healthy, active puppies.
