November 8, 2000 It's not really surprising to me, but I am sick again. I really need to talk to my roommate about closing the windows at night and possibly leaving the fan off, but he just can't seem to do it. I find myself all cuddled up in the morning because it's so freaking cold. Maybe that's the reason that I never want to get out of bed, making me rush to get ready in the morning. Whatever.. :) Anyway, It just really sucks because my throat is really killing me. I fall in these coughing bouts where I just can' stop coughing, but I'm going to live. I hope…. Well, Matt and Derik have gotten a new apartment, and they have been hounding Dom and I to go see it. Dom and I weren't really doing anything so we decided to get off our asses to see their place. Matt has been going on and on about how wonderful and fabulous their new place it. So, Dom and I just had to see it. We walked to their place, and when we walked in, Dom and I were actually really surprised at how nice the place was. The two furnished it very nicely….I mean, what do you expect with two gay guys?! Dom and I got the grand tour, and when I say grand tour, I mean Matt even showed us the basement. We all ended up back in their living room, and we were all talking. Dom and I are convinced that Matt and Derik just don't have many other friends. So we just picture them sitting in their apartment watching tv all night long. Now, even though they aren't dating..or won't ever…the two act like a married couple. Dom and I sat through this conversation of theirs where Matt was concerned about some of their plants, and Derik returned by explaining he had just watered them. Then, Matt went on to say that one of the plants was sprouting a new leaf, and he proceeded by jumping for joy. I told Dom that if I ever acted like that to just slap me across the face. Later on, we talked about the GAP, because Derik was going in for an interview. He just asked me for some advice since I used to work there. I helped in out a bit. Then Matt turned on the tv, and the conversation kind of died off. Shortly there after, Dom and I left. Nonetheless, these two are awesome guys, and they are fun to hang out. They are really good together, and I just wish that Matt wasn't so stubborn and would just take Derik back. They made such a wonderful couple. What can you do...?
