November 22, 2000 It's been a while since I've actually been back in Chicago, and I haven't really had the chance to see a lot of my old friends. I called Eleni the other….we used to work together at GAP. We're part of the old school gang before everything changed at GAP. So, every now and then, we all get back together to fill each other in with the latest gossip. We planned to get together for lunch today, so I drove over to Woodfield, and I picked her up from work. We got some coffee, and we sat and talked. Her and I are awesome together because all we do is talk about boys, and gossip. We started dating someone of the summer, and anyone she dates must be approved by me. Her last boyfriend was a loser, and I didn't waste time telling her. She shortly thereafter realized I was right…and she dumped his ass. However, this new guy is nothing but perfect. He's way cute, way nice, and way good for her. I told her that he was a keeper… I just hope they these two get married… :) An hour later, we were still drinking our coffee and laughing our asses off. I always have so much fun with her…it was like old times again. I had a dentist appointment today, so I had to go to work pretty late today. I can't express in words how much I love going to the dentist, though. I know that I'm crazy for thinking so, but I just feel so refreshed when I leave the dentist office. My teeth are all clean and sparkly!!! Anyway, I drove straight to work after my appointment. It was a pretty slow day, with Thanksgiving being tomorrow. I worked on some shipment, sold some closed, and basically left. Nothing too exciting. I drove home, and it was day!
