June 22, 2001 Hmm…so what's the exciting news for the day? I finally asked Starbucks boy out, and he accepted!!! I was at work pretty much the whole day today, and on top of the fact that I am utterly and completely disenchanted with the GAP because I only got scheduled 12 hours next week…I still had a good day. No employee at Kids got schedules more and 15 hours next week… How am I going to spend money frivolously now?! Oh yeah….an they have decided to use "on-call" scheduling.. I suggested, "Why don't they just tie up the employees in the back room, and when then need us to untie us so that we could go work on the floor." That is exactly what I feel like…we are at their every beck and call. I lunacy I tell you… I got off work at 6:00pm and I went to Starbucks to get my mocha frapuccino…of course my Starbucks boy was working. I asked him to go out with me and my friends tonight…and he said that he would…of course not without a struggle on my part. I was so giddy like a school girl when he accepted. I did a little shopping with Eleni today… It was such a good day. I got a new back from Banana Republic…and she got some stuff for her little bro…not to mention awesome denim shoes..and the shoes she picked out from Nordstroms. I also bought some pins to go on my bag from Hot Topic…I'm gay like that. So, I stayed at the mall until 9:30pm when Tony said that he would be getting off of work. I also invited Eleni, Kevin and his friend Carolynn. By 10:00pm, Tony got off of work…and so did Eleni. We were walking towards Cheesecake Factory and we saw Kevin and his friend. We sat, and Tony was on the complete opposite corner of me. Kevin gave me this look, and I gave him a look back…like I couldn't do anything about it. Kevin told him to switch…so now Tony was sitting across with me…hehe… It was a really good evening… It wasn't quite as awkward as I thought it would be. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Kevin and his friend left a little early because they had to go to surprise birthday party for an employee that I work with. So, it was just Eleni, Tony and I. We sat a talked a little, and it was really good. Except for the fact that Tony kept on saying that I wasn't interested in him anymore because I found out he was only 16. He's only freaking 16 years old. Am I robbing the cradle or what?! To tell you the truth…I really am interested in Tony, and I can only wish that he's interested in me as well. I told him that I didn't care about his age…and in the end I really can give a flying f. We left Cheesecake and I drove everyone to their cars… I didn't get my goodnight kiss from Tony…but give me time!
