So…despite going to church…the rest of my day was pretty much gay filled.

After church, I got ready to head over to Eleni's house. We were planning on driving to the train station so that we could head over to Downtown Chicago to meet Kevin so that we could all head over to the Pride Parade. Well…Eleni and I got to the train station and we just kind of found out we missed the train by about twenty minutes, and the next one was coming at the time that we had to meet Kevin..so that was no good. Our next plan was to head over to Cummberland so that we could catch the L over to where were had to meet Kevin..

We did just that, but by the time that we got to the "meeting place," Kevin was no where to be found. Eleni and I just headed out to the parade in hopes that we might run into Kevin…no such thing happened. Although that I am kind of bummed that we didn't get to hang out with Kevin…I was still glad because I got to enjoy the parade with Eleni. It was actually quite enjoyable…and I really had no reason to be as worried as I was.

Since I got invited, and during the long ride on the L, I really had no idea was to be expecting. But, once I got to the parade…it wasn't that bad. Eleni and I stopped for two Java Chip Ice Cream Shakes from Starbucks…and we headed over to the parade. My gosh…all I have to say is that there were way to many gay people in one place…

:)

Eleni and I gawked and pointed at the weird ones…and we kept out eyes on the scrumdilies… We danced around a lot, and we pointed a lot as well.. So, about two and a half hours later…we were beat, at least I was beat. The parade ended, and with gay paraphernalia and all, we went back to Starbucks for two more Ice Cream Shakes… They were seriously that good!!

We took the L back, and drove home…this whole time without seeing Kevin. No worries here…we still had a good time, and I am still going to ream his ass for not waiting an extra fifteen minutes to meet us. I'm sure he had fun without us, and we still had our own little fun.

After I got home…I ate dinner with the fam…played with the new palm pilot that my parents got me…and I watched a little tv. I caught the last half of Queer as Folk, which was officially the second show that I have caught. But, I have yet to see an entire episode. Nonetheless, the last half that I watched was enough to get me practically hooked to the show. It was seriously unbelievable. It had me on the verge of tears.. Granted, many things have brought me to the verge of tears…but hey, it's a show about my own peeps…I have the right to want to watch it…

So right now, I think that I am about gay-ed out. I think that I have had my fill of gay-dom for a good long time…well, maybe except for Tony!
