Saturday, April 13, 2002: EZ Creation DJ Mix Maker is now finished! In it, you can play sounds (one or two word phrases work well, and sound effects work pretty cool too) to the beat of music. All you have to do to make your own mix is click on the music button (to start the music), then click piano keys to play sounds to the beat. And get this, you can even load your own sounds and music into it! Unfortunately, there isn't anyway I can make an in-game sound recorder, so if you want to record your mix you'll have to either use another sound recording program while you play, or use an audio cassette tape recorder. Thursday, March 14, 2002: No new games yet, but if you want more games please vote for me in the GM Top 50. If you do, and I get back up into the top 10, you can count on a new game coming very soon. Speaking of new game coming soon, Sonic Boom is just about done. All I have to do now is add another boss, another movie, another zone (3 acts), and some final boss(es) and movies. Any fan mail about my other games can really inspire me to work on it harder, though, so drop me a line at joshuaf@mwt.net. Also I need an idea for what the last zone should be... Friday, February 1, 2002: A new save file is now available for Agent Blade. For those of you that can't get past the last Pikachu guard (because of the glitch where he never dies), I've snuck past him for you and saved. Just download it from the Agent Blade page and follow the instructions that are on the Agent Blade page. Sunday, January 6, 2002: AGENT BLADE IS NOW HERE! Tonight I finished it. It's a fun spy game with big levels and huge bosses. Go, see for yourself, check out the 2 screenshots and download it. But don't let it fool you, if the graphics look bad, that's because the fun actually comes with the GAMEPLAY! Friday, January 4, 2002 (not sure about the date, I originally had it as Friday, January 2, 2002...): Sorry, no new games yet. But you can check out the newly updated Top 10, which now surprisingly has Sonic Fighters at the top. Also, with the new online features of Game Maker 4.1, you may be seeing some multiplayer online games in the future. Monday, December 17, 2001: Great news! I checked my email today and... this site has won a 2001-2002 Golden Web Award. Check the bottom of this page, just above the hit counter, to see it! :D Sunday, December 16, 2001: NEW GAME!!!!!! Fantasy Ball: Extreme 3D Pinball, is now released! There's a screenshot up on its page, and it even comes with a strategy guide when you download it. Saturday, December 15, 2001: Not much new now, except I added games to the Top 10. As you may know, the Top 10 is where you can vote for your favorite game at this site, and see what other people voted for so you can decide which game(s) you'd like to download first. Friday, December 14, 2001: Today I re-added the voting thing, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote for me if you want your vote to inspire me to continue making great games. All you do is click on the banner towards the top of the page then click on the link it says to vote. That easy! Please help me out by voting! And as far as the games are going... Let's see... Sonic Boom is still about Zone 5. I think the game will have 6 zones total, plus a final boss. Oh, by the way my GM friend Anime Relm taught me how to make 3D graphics with Game Maker 4.0. Check out this sample: Saturday, December 8, 2001: UPDATE 1: NEW VERSION OF EZ CREATION MAZE MAKER NOW AVAILABLE! That's right, version 5.0 is now released. Now you can save your mazes as whatever file name you want, allowing you to save an unlimited amount of mazes! It's 41 minutes after midnight here, so, goodnight! UPDATE 2: I deleted the GM Top 50 thing from my site, since it's not working. A screenshot of EZ Creation Maze Maker 5.0 now released, and I re-uploaded today at around 10:45am central time with the sample game included (in the other one I accidentally forgot to put in the sample game). But here's a screenshot, minimized: Friday, December 7, 2001: More update on Sonic Boom. I'm working on it now, and it's going good. I have a really cool sprite to use for the 4th boss, so I can't wait until he's finished. I'm already planning on a sequel, and I made a little demo of a Sonic game that is more like the original Sonic the Hedgehog games for Sega Genesis. So you know what that means-- you'll have to vote for what kind of gameplay you want in the next Sonic Boom game if there will be a sequel (called Sonic Boom 2, of course =D). And as for the GM Top 50 voting thing, I added a banner to the top of the page so you'll notice it more and hopefully vote for me. And another thing... there is now a pull-down menu in the quick navigation at the top of the page, so you can find where you want to go even easier! Thursday, December 6, 2001: Today I added the site to the GM Top 50, at the top of this page there's a link (right under the banner). Although it's not required to (while on some sites it is), I'd be really thankful if you voted. Also, Sonic Boom is coming along good, with 3 1/3 zones finished. If you haven't heard about Sonic Boom already, it's like Knuckles's World Tour with a new story, new enemies, funner gameplay (although same kind of gameplay, more variety), and A LOT better graphics. There are bosses and movies inbetween zones, and each zone now has 3 acts. Keep your eye on this site, Final's Arcade, to keep updated, as it may be released later this month! Sunday, November 11, 2001: Well, I've started work on Sonic Boom again, and I've added a Top 10 Games page where you can vote for your favorite game. ALSO today, I re-uploaded Sonic Fighters with that hated 'Robotnik regenerating' glitch fixed. Saturday, November 10, 2001: Yay! We have a new game-- Sonic Fighters! In this game, you can fight as Sonic, Robotnik, and Knuckles. This game offers you classic Sonic action put into a fighting game. You may recognize the backgrounds and music. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001: PowerPet Adventure is finally here! This highly anticipated virtual pet game has Meweight jumping for joy! See for yourself why the people like it. ALSO, there's a new interview up for you to read-- Meweight interviewed me about PowerPet Adventure and my upcoming games. =) Friday, Oct. 5, 2001: I added a chatroom! Hey, it's a groupboard chat, so that means you can draw in it too! Sunday, Sep. 23, 2001: Today I added EZ Creation Maze Maker 4.0, and there's now a contest you can enter about it. The contest is basically you send in your maze(s) and the best maze wins. Also in EZCMM 4.0 you can save up to 10 mazes! Read the help file (press F1 when playing it) to learn how. |
