Ringette
is a non-contact sport but the occasional hit does occur. You also don't want
to be hit with the ring or falling onto the ice hard because that really hurts.
Here's the equipment that's mandatory for all players.
Note:
The wiring on the face shield differs from those of a hockey cage. In ringette
the wires are spaced closer together to prevent the tip of the stick from going
through.
