The casting of Batman & Robin was approached in a very ''critical'' manner. Val Kilmer from Batman Forever was not available, they needed a new Batman so they thought ''Who's the most handsome guy around? Give a call to George (Clooney)…'' Good for them Christ O'Donnel was still available but they needed something more… ''Who's the young actress that most American teenage girl can identify with? Yes, call Alicia…'' and they created Batgirl. When the time for the casting of villains came, they knew that they should be big-name stars. ''Who's the guy that is well-known even to Zimbabwe, Cameroon and China? Yes, call the big man with the Austrian accent for Mr. Freeze''. And of course, they needed a sexy woman. ''Which female actor has a deadly body and a kinky face? UUUUmmmaaaaaaa!''…. |
