| Our club year starts with our September meeting. We have club contests 6 times a year, programs with outside speakers, we are a member of both CACCA and CICCA. A member presents a 5-minute presentation every other month on a subject related to photography. Our annual salon for members is held at the July meeting. Each member can submit 10 prints and/or ten slides for judging. Our community activity is the Grundy County Corn festival Photo Show held the last weekend in September every year. As part of the Grundy County Corn festival, we accept entries from photographers in the surrounding area for judging. They can enter in black & white prints, color prints and color slides in eighteen different categories. All entries are judged and ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and HM are awarded. We use this yearly activity to draw members to our camera club. | |
