Anger
Problem- This will be another short situational
comedy. It is going to employ ideas using characters
that do not know how to deal with their problems. The
main plot is that Riler is having a horrible day- he gets kicked out
of his house, fired, and goes crazy at a college book store.
Sentenced to anger therapy, he is forced to talk about his problems.
As he eventually finds out the therapist is a quack, his two friends
are going through their own horrible set of problems. A dog
piss in a car later, they all convince one another to go to the
hotel where Riler worked and create revenge.

Documentary
of the malpractice phenomenon
A film
based off of some struggles in my life. It would be a
melancholy look into how difficult the mundane
pressures of everyday life affect everyone I am
around. The main objective is for people to focus on
how they make sacrifices in their lives. Even though
they mean well, there are unintended consequences for
those around them and themselves. If someone was to
watch this, maybe it would help them make more
well-informed life decisions.
Personal
Insight into film today
First
off, this is a difficult to approach because it is
hard to keep track of everything that is produced and
take the time to watch all of it.
The
one thing I can provide are personal opinions of
where the direction of film should go.
Personally,
I believe there should be a passion in film that
should focus on quality. I believe the key to all
of success of quality in film is the writing. The
direction of how writing is done will determine
the quality of work that comes to theatres and
homes in the future. The quantity of film will be
there. And the demand will be there. But if
people are not expecting any more than passively
being entertained, why would it go to the next
level. The main questions you should ask yourself
while watching video or film is "Am I being
stimulated?" and "What is it that
stimulates me?" The viewers will determine
the quality.
Enhanced
writing would help another thing I also would
like to see- more details. It's one thing to
shoot a bunch of dialogue scenes or some guy
running, but it's another to have something going
on in the background or to incorporate subplots.
And keep in mind, this view does not just reflect
"artsy-fartsy" people, it affects even
those children's movies you watch today. Those
movies are not just written and produced for your
children. There are things incorporated into many
of them that would stimulate adults. If something
can be written and produced to do that, imagine
where the development of all categories of film
can end.
