I've always been into films since I was a little nipper - action movies have always been my favourite. Zombie Flesh Eaters was the first zombie movie I saw and, to be honest, it was pretty bad. I asked my Dad for his opinion on these types of movie and he simply re-enforced my theory: they are rubbish. However, when a friend told me on the way home from school one night that another 'living dead' film was on, I thought I'd give them one last chance. That film was Night of the Living Dead , and I was quite simply blown away. Despite its average acting, primitive make-up and dated appearance, it captured a world in total chaos. The black and white film added to this harsh reality that George Romero created and executed so well.
