Upon its final ride in 1996, the Original Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade had been performed an estimated 3,600 times for more than 75 million Guests.

At last count, the total number of bulbs required to bring the parade to life was close to 530,000.

SOURCE OF LIGHT

The Main Street Electrical Parade has its origins in the Walt Disney World Electrical Water Pageant. Seven months after this nautical spectacle was launched in Florida, The Main Street Electrical Parade rolled onto the Disneyland streets. The Walt Disney World version of this parade began in 1977, but has since chugged on to Disneyland Paris.
