FIREWORKS




With more than 1,000 fireworks shows a year, the Walt Disney World Resort combines pyrotechnics with musical scores for a multi-sensory entertainment experience. Here are a few facts about the fireworks shows:


- A 12 inch shell in "Fantasy in the Sky" at the Magic Kingdom Park will burst 700 feet in diameter.

- Twelve show barges in World Showcase Lagoon launch almost all of the fireworks for "IllumiNations" at Epcot. The show uses 45,000 light bulbs to illuminate the countries around World Showcase.

- The inflatable Sorcerer Mickey that rises above the Chinese Theater during the finale of "Sorcery in the Sky" at the Disney-MGM Studios is 55 feet tall.
