"I'm so happy things are turning out this way," Kirsten whispered in Brian's ear.
"I was so scared I would never see you again, it was as if you disappeared off the face of the earth." Brian told her sincerely.
"I'm sorry, I just did what I thought was best, but now... we're going to be a family. You, Jaclyn, & I." She smiled brightly.
"Why Jaclyn?"
"Um...you said you were going to adopt her didn't you?"
Brian laughed, "I meant, why did you name her Jaclyn?"
"Jaclyn, like Jacki, your mom."
Brian grinned, "God, you're amazing." He looked into her eyes and kissed her forehead.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." He told her kissing her neck.
"Woah," Nick said as he opened the door.
"Hey Nick." Kirsten laughed.
"How's Jacci?" Brian asked (his fatherly nature was kicking in).
"She's great, sleeping like a...baby." Nick smiled.
"Great, I'll put her in her basenett." Kirsten said picking the tiny newborn up and taking into the room. Brian and Nick could hear her singing softly to ensure that the baby would stay sleeping.
"Brian, I gotta tell you something."
"Go for it."
"MacKenzie and I...we kissed." Nick confessed.
Brian's eyes grew wide, "Now way!"
Nick nodded.
"How are you going to tell AJ?" Brian inquired.
"We're not," Nick look down shamefully.
"Listen, I understand you're feelings, but I also understand how AJ's going to feel... I mean, the loves of our lives ran out, and I know if Kirsten and you had something once I finally had a chance to get her back... I'd be crushed."
"But that's just it, he doesn't have the chance, and it has nothing to do with me. Right after she left ahe was talking about how she just wasn't feeling the same now that she had to move on without him."
"Do you think it has something to do with Jaclyn?"
"I'm not sure, I could see how it would be hard for her, but it's the same for you."
"Yeah."
"Are you guys talking bad about me?" Kirsten asked as they grew quiet when she entered the room.
"Never," Brian ginned playfully planting a kiss on the tip of her nose.
"It's as though you guys were never apart." Nick commented.
"I'd like to pretend we never were." Brian said.
"Well, you'll be apart for awhile starting tomorrow."
"Why?" Kirsten asked.
"Tour." Brian groaned, "I totally forgot. Yeah we still have 8 more stops." Kirsten frowned,
"Well, I could pack while you're gone," she smiled weakly.
"Or you could come with us," Brian suggested.
Kirsten smiled, "I'll talk to MacKenzie... you sure you wouldn't mind me and Jacci tagging along?"
"My soon-to-be wife and daughter? God now, it would make every day brighter than it has been in awhile."
Kirsten kissed him and he wrapped his arms around her. "I'm gonna go now..." Nick giggled closing the door and shaking his head.
"God Brian, it's been too long." Kirsten moaned as Brian's kisses traveled down her neck and unto her collarbone.
Kirsten ran her fingers through Brian's curly locks. Then, Brian removed her light tank top and tossed it to the floor along with her bra. He moved his way down her body.
"I love you," he reminded her as he removed his shirt and pressed himself against her.
"And I you," She whispered pulling her shorts off.
Soon, Brian had removed his jeans and boxers and the two became one.
