"You okay?" Melissa whispered, as we sat on my couch.
I shook my head no. Why should I be? I was replaced by someone.
"You don't need him." Melissa replied.
I glared at her, "How would you know?" I snapped.
"Excuse me? I've been hurt too before. And I'm trying to save you from what I had to go through. I spent six months pouting, and it got on everyones nerves. The same thing is going to happen to you. You're no exception." Melissa lectured.
"I need to be alone." I mumbled, laying my head down on the leather arm rest. It was cool and soft on my cheek.
"Fine. I can take a hint. I'll call you tomorrow." Melissa said, she grabbed her purse and her keys and walked out. It took all my strength to get up and lock the door behind her.
I moved to my room and laid down on my bed. I cuddled with my body pillow and inhaled a deep breath. All I could smell was Shawn's scent. I hugged the pillow tighter. I only wished it was really him instead of some feather filled piece of scented cloth.
When I woke up the next morning I was still clinging on to the pillow. I looked at the clock and it said it was 10:30. I got up and brushed my teeth. I put on my tight fitting Ralph Lauren jeans, a red tank top, and my sandals and my blonde hair was hanging loosely on my back. By the time I was ready and I put on my makeup it was 11:00. Then my phone rang. I grumbled and picked it up, "Hello."
"Julia?" someone asked.
"Yeah..." I answered.
"Hey. It's Brian..."
