1. As members of the Robert E. Lee High School NJROTC Unit, you are expected to conform to high standards of military bearing, appearance, customs, and courtesies. These standards are higher those expected of the general Lee High School population and are, in part, what makes this a distinctive organization. Your willingness to conform to these standards will directly affect your success and the overall success of the unit during the upcoming school year.
2. This handbook contains general rules, regulations, and procedures that apply to our unit. It cannot possibly provide detailed instructions for every situation but rather should serve as a guide or set of minimum requirements. If/when situations arise that are not covered by this document, cadets are expected to use initiative, good judgement and common sense.
