•The Beginning
Being the C.O. for the first and second quarter has
been great. There were a lot of responsibilties that
I was faced with. Even though being a C.O. seems to
be too much work, overall I had fun. Being in charge
has taught me many ways of how to lead a group,
which will help me succeed in the future. Now it is
with my pleasure to welcome the C.O. for the second
semester, To my knowledge I have started this year
successfully, now it is up to him to finish the year
with greater success. C/LCDR Heverola
•The Ending
The NJROTC unit of this year is not looking that
bad. Though it may seem, to some that we are gotten
off to a slow start, we have not. Except for the
Armed Exhibition Drill Team, All of the teams got
underway quite early. (The Armed EX. Drill Team is
Doing Good now.) It's all about determination and
motivation. I have told the Drill Team, "Drill is a
thinking man's game.", and that's what it is. It's
all in your head, think positively and you will get
it, think negatively and you will not. It's not as
hard as it looks, but it takes discipline. C/LCDR
