The Gayle and Company Band is special in that its main members consist of mother Gayle, (band-leader, songwriter, guitarist and vocalist), son Adam, and daughter Brittan.  Adam and Brittan are also vocalists, guitarists and songwriters.   Their lead guitarist, Mike Biggers , has been playing with the band for the past 14 years; since Adam and Brittan were young.  Chuck Stewart is their bassist and also a long time band member. 

Gayle and Company have appeared at numerous venues including The Riverside Orange Blossom Festival and Wednesday Night Street Scene, The Wickenburg Bluegrass Festival, Cal State San Bernardino’s Environmental Expo and various other concerts, festivals and clubs.  

The band currently has two CD’s completed which include a spiritual-folk CD, “On My Way” and a Christmas CD “Family Christmas”.   They can be heard regularly on L.A.’s popular radio station KPFK, 90.7 FM.  Their newest CD, which will feature many originals written by different members of the band, will be available by the fall of 2002. 

Gayle and Company’s unique sound is greatly attributed to their melding of musical styles using tight three part family harmony. Their musical influences are various artists from the 60’s and 70’s such as C,S, & N, Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan. 

Their engineer, Tommy, is Gayle’s husband and he also runs sound for the band during live performances.
