Religious Emblems & Awards
for Jewish Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers and Adults
The National Jewish Committee on Scouting has designed special emblems to be awarded
to Jewish Scouts who learn more about Judaism. You may start working on one as soon as you have
joined Scouting. In December, 1995, a change in age requirements was
announced
for the Maccabee Emblem. It may now be earned by Tiger Cubs, Wolf Cubs, and Bear Cubs.
Bear Cubs and Webelos Scouts may earn the Aleph emblem.
