I have been very fortunate to see many different parts of the world. As a child my parents gave me the opportunity to visit and live in many countries, and it is something I truly enjoy. I love learning about different cultures, and sharing my experiences with others.

  1. Asia

    1. China (I moved here in 2003 and will live here until at least 2007.)

      1. Hong Kong (pre-1997)

      2. Taiwan (island)

    2. Japan (Megan and I visited my relatives in Kyoto during the spring of 2005. I've been here many times.)

    3. Kyrgyzstan (I helped build some homes there during the summer of 2002.)
    4. Laos (I visited a village on the Mekong River via a six-man boat. Scorpion and snake whiskey was a big item for sale there.)
    5. Malaysia (Megan and I visited Malaysia shortly after the huge tsunami hit it.)
    6. Myanmar (I crossed into a border town called Tachileik. This crossing has been closed due to fighting/regional disturbances in recent years.)

    7. Philippines
    8. Singapore (Megan and I went to this tropical paradise in 2005.)

    9. South Korea (I lived here during the 2002-2003 school year. I was actually in North Korea for a couple of minutes during a DMZ tour I took.)

    10. Thailand (I lived here before my school years, and I have visited the nation a couple times in the past few years.)
    11. Vietnam (Megan and I spent two weeks in this nation in 2006, and we highly recommend a trip here.)
  2. Europe (I went on a soccer tour w/ my club team, Dynamo F.C., during high school.)
    1. Azerbaijan (Former Soviet Republic that I was unable to visit because a visa was required. I did get to view the Caspian Sea though!)

    2. Belgium (Naughty boy.)
    3. England (Expensive, but cool. The Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben were all visited last summer.)
    4. France (I've seen the Eiffel Tower, Last Supper, & Mona Lisa. The Last Supper is absolutely magnificent. The Mona Lisa was so much smaller than what I expected.)
    5. Germany (I went here when it was West Germany and East Germany.)

    6. Luxembourg (A very small country bordering Germany, France, and Belgium.)

    7. Netherlands (A few of my teammates were wandering the streets of Amsterdam when we accidently found ourselves in a district that we shouldn't have been in. It didn't take long before we got out of there!)
    8. Switzerland (My favorite European country I visited. Tons of waterfalls, mountains, and lakes. Absolutely Beautiful.)
  3. North America

    1. Bahamas (A college graduation present from my dad. Get your education!)
    2. Canada (Toronto is an amazing city. Very hip and so multicultural. I went up the CN Tower, the tallest tower in the world, and later saw Niagara Falls.)
    3. Jamaica (My parents took us on a vacation here before we moved back to Indiana from Brazil.)
      1. Alabama (On a drive to Florida during my college senior year, I remember my buddy Tony ordering eggs at a truck stop. They glowed. I'm not joking. These eggs were neon. This is what I remember most about Alabama.)

      2. California (Megan and I have visited family and friends in LA a few times.)

      3. Connecticut (I've never seen more trees in my life. I'm not kidding. It's like, "Where are the towns?!")

      4. Colorado (My brother and I experienced altitude sickness and burnt lips while on a family ski trip in Vail and Breckinridge.)

      5. Florida (A pelican took a dump on me in St. Petersburg. Gritty.)

      6. Georgia (My buddies and I have driven through this state a couple of times on the way to Florida.)

      7. Hawaii (They have lots of people that look like me.)

      8. Illinois (I attended the 94 & 99 World Cup held in Chicago - Men/Women.)

      9. Indiana (I was a ballboy during some of the 87 Pan American soccer games.)

      10. Iowa (I had a conversation w/ an Amish family.)

      11. Kansas (I was short less than 50 cents at a toll booth. The police escorted me to the nearest atm machine.)

      12. Kentucky (I've played and coached against many soccer teams in this state.)

      13. Maryland (I visited Maryland by accident - Wrong turn.)

      14. Massachusetts (The owner of the hat store we visited in Boston wasn't pleased that we were taking pictures with her hats on. Hee Hee.)

      15. Michigan (I went skiing in Boyne with my father and brother.)

      16. Minnesota (I visited the St.Paul/Minnepolis airport last summer.)

      17. Missouri (Check the tallest monument in the U.S., the Gateway Arch, off my list.)

      18. Nebraska (After driving through this state on the way to visiting my brother in Wyoming, I can see why they're called the Cornhuskers.)

      19. New Jersey (They have a funny accent.)

      20. New York (No city in the U.S. comes close to size of NYC. I'm talking large and in charge. If you look closely, you can see the Statue of Liberty in the picture above.)

      21. North Carolina (My parents took us to a Native American reservation when I was in middle school.)

      22. Ohio (Less than two years ago I went to the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland Rocks!)

      23. Pennsylvania (Megan and I ran up the stairs at the Philadelphia Musuem of Art - the same steps Rocky ran up!)

      24. South Carolina (I found a tick in my hair on a family vacation at Kiawah Island. Nasty.)

      25. Tennessee (Gatlinburg is so much fun - go-cart tracks, arcades, minature golf, water parks, musuems, etc.)

      26. Texas (I went to a huge mall in Dallas called the Galleria. Multi-level mall containing a mini roller coaster, ice rink, and tons of overpriced stores like Versace.)

      27. Virginia (I have been to Norfolk where a huge naval base is located.)

      28. Washington (Can you say you've had Seattle's Best Coffee in Seattle? I can. Are you jealous? I thought so.

      29. West Virginia (Last summer I took a road trip w/ Megan and drove through the northern part of this gorgeous state - my second visit.)

      30. Wisconsin (I watched the Milwaukee Brewers come back to defeat the New York Yankees during my middle school years.)

      31. Wyoming (The views are stunning. I visited my brother in Laramie while he was attending Wyoming Tech.)

      32. Washington D.C. (I've been in the White House and seen the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials as well as the Washington Monument.)

      33. Guam (I was born on a naval base here.)

      34. Puerto Rico (I lived here in 10th & 11th grade.)

      35. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John's, & St. Croix - My father would often fly us over here from Puerto Rico.)

    4. Panama (Of course I've seen the canal.)
  4. South America
    1. Brazil (I lived here in 2nd & 3rd grade. I was really scared of the ants there. They have some big ants!)

    2. Venezuela (This was only a refueling stop to Panama.)
