WASHING OUT THE COLON

Taking frequent high enemas is an effective and efficient way to keep the colon clean and to help draw out poisons from the inner body. The word colon, from the Greek word kolon, literally means 'large intestine'.  It goes up the right side of the abdomen from the  appendix region, crosses over near the stomach area, and goes down the left side of the abdomen region to the rectum.

These parts are called the ascending colon (up), the transverse colon (across), and the descending colon (down).  This tube contains the important absorbing tissue that removes the nutrient liquids and from the material passing through;  at the completion of this passage, the remaining material is waste.

In washing out the colon it is most convenient to have a hose attachment directly to the sink.  Have a hose long enough to reach from the sink to the toilet.  A 3/8 inch tube is about right.  Use the rectal attachment from an enema bag kit, oiled or greased for easy insertion.  Adjust the water pressure to a slow flow and a  temperature of cool to lukewarm.   With the water adjusted and running in the toilet, insert the end into your anus and let the water run into your rectum.  Remove the hose and let the water run out.

Repeat, this time letting the water go higher into the descending colon by relaxing and accepting it.;  When you feel some uncomfortable pressure, remove the tube and gently expel the water.  Repeat the process of filling and emptying several times;  Allow the water to go as far as the ascending colon.  Upon expulsion from there a vacuum or suction is caused, pulling waste from the small intestines as well.  An enema bag may be used but requires constant refilling.

Herb teas can optionally be used for the final rinse when a bag is used.  Herbal enema teas can be made by the gallon as Sun Tea.  Put the herbs in a gallon glass jar with water and keep in a bright spot for a day, then strain.  What is not used right away will keep in the refrigerator for a week.  Bring to body temperature for enema use. these teas may also be drunk, hot or cold, as they will work from the inside as well.

Herb Tea Enemas are made from any or all of these herbs.
Slippery Elm Bark, Red Raspberry Leaves,
Yellow Dock, Squaw Vine, Chickweed,
Comfrey Root, Golden Seal Root,
Mullein, Marshmallow Root.

Exercising the colon and abdomen is an important part of your total cleaning program.  Pushing hard and contracting tightly and pushing hard again is good strengthening exercise for the whole abdomen.  This is an isometric type of exercise.

This part of the program takes at least four to six weeks and maybe longer.  A test from a doctor is necessary to be sure that no more intestinal parasites exist before returning to a more "normal" diet.

After the major elimination organs are cleaned out you can then work on cleaning your lungs and sinus, bloodstream, lymphatic system and all areas of your body.  Part II will discuss cleaning the lungs, sinuses, bloodstream, and lymphatic system.  Part III of this program will be building and strengthening the Immunity and Endocrine Systems and building diets.

Alternate between cleansing and building diets for optimal health.
