WHAT IS A SON
A SON IS THE MOST PRECIOUS & GREATEST GIFT GOD CAN
GIVE TO A MOTHER AND A FATHER.  IN RETURN WE TRIED
TO GIVE  YOU THE VERY BEST POSSIBLE IN LIFE, A GOOD
HONEST LOVING HOME, THE GREATEST LOVE AND A LOT
OF SPECIAL GIFTS YOU "JUST WANTED".  AS WE LOOK BACK
THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT WE GAVE YOU WAS TAKING YOU
TO CHURCH, SUNDAY AFTER SUNDAY, YEAR AFTER YEAR.
THEN ONE DAY GOD BLESSED US AND LET US SEE A MIRACLE.
WE SAW YOU RECEIVE THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL "JESUS".
SUNDAY SEPT 7TH 1986,  JERRY HAD PURCHASED HIS TICKET
AND WHEN JESUS CALLED HIM HOME.  HE WAS READY.

Written by: Jerry's mother  in 1993,  5 years before Jerry's death,
Jerry was killed  in a  4 wheeler accident on a Friday night
about 10:30 pm August 20th 1999.
*Thought for the day:  The only earthly treasures you can take to Heaven with you
are your children!

Jerry liked to said;  "Don't weary about me * I am ready when
God calls me home.  Thank God he was.

A POEM FOR JERRY (Sept 1999)
All sandy hair with skinned up knees.
Riding bikes and climbing trees.
We watched you grow from just a boy.
To all of us you were a Joy.
As time went by you grew up strong and
your laughter it was like a song.
Your gentle way, your sparking eyes,
these are the hardest things about good-byes.
A handsome young man with a heart of gold.
A true friend to all both young and old.
You never did judge or hold on to a grudge.
You never grew to angry it just wasn't you.
We never knew one who gave love so free.
You made us all look, and you made us all see,
that people are all different as night and as day,
but each one is special in their own way.
You taught us that sometimes all folks really need
is a pat on the back or a tug on the sleeve.
That to every story there's another side,
that sometimes the worst thing in this world is our pride.
You left us dear friend on a hot summer night.
We have to go on thou it takes all our might.
Now when we hear your voice, it sparkles & sings.
Now your beautiful spirit soars on gossamer wings.
One precious boy who helped us to see
that things are just things and always will be.
That the touch of a hand or the smile on a face
will take us much farther in this human race.
Your parents and brother so lonesome and sad,
Oh how they grieve for the boy that they had.
They cling to each other to hold and to love,
but Oh how they miss the one gone on above.
To be with the father who always had and always would,
love him more than even they could.
So often we wish we could just see your face once more
We really would love to just touch your hand,
for we know they are playing in God's Angel Band.
Someday in heaven when I find my way.
We'll sit and we'll talk on that uncloudy day.
I know that God loves you as much as could be.
So Jerry please put in a good word for me.

Jerry touched the heart of a young child
One year later a small child remembers Jerry

This site is being created because a special friend shared her web site with me
I got to know my friend after my son's death. She knew my pain & called to help,
because she had lost her son "Corey" and knew what I felt.
A big Thank you for being there for me!
Jerry's beautiful smile :)

Jerry in Destin Florida.  Jerry & his brother & family went to Destin, Fl
in 1998,  Jerry had a blast!  Little did we know it would be our last family
vacation together.  Love  & miss  you Jerry,  see you again in Heaven for good times again.

ISAIAH 40:31 - But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint.

Angels
An Angel takes form and has many looks
As seen in pictures and described in books
Some with Cherub faces that come in your dreams
Dressed all in white with feathery wings

But, to those who are aged and living alone
An Angel is a voice at the other end of the phone
To a country in trouble, where lives have been torn
Angels come wearing a uniform

An Angel looks like a child of two
When they give you a hug and say,"I love you."
An Angel is a friend who is always around
Who listens when we're feeling down...

Angels may come to protect us from danger
Or, born long ago and placed in a manger
An Angel is sent from our Lord up above
To watch over and keep us and given in love

Do I believe in Angels? I definitely do!!!
Sent straight from Heaven with comfort for you>
When times get stormy, They keep us calm
My own precious Angels call me, Grandma and Mom!
