An English Gathering

Carol, Linda and Joyce Enjoy Time Together
  Written by Marcy (PJ)

Joyce, Mum to Karen, Carol, Mum to Niki, and Linda, Mum to Adam (the little sailor boy) recently met up.  Thanks to their posts, we're able to share in the meaningful time they spent together.

The English Gathering began with Joyce and her husband Mick driving over to Carol's house.  Once there, they met Bernard, Carol's husband, and their children and granddaughter.  They all enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

Then, as Joyce wrote, "We went to the cemetery to her beloved Nichola's and Olivia's grave. This was a very moving experience. Nichola and her baby, Olivia,(who was born an angel), lie in a tranquil spot under the trees." Joyce brought along some "lovely flowers for Niki," wrote Carol.

Then, it was on to Linda's house.  There, Carol, Joyce and Mick met Linda and her son David for the first time.  Linda wrote, "We exchanged stories and photos. It was nice to put a face to someone we care about."  Carol wrote that Linda "is lovely" and her son, David, is "very handsome."

The Mums had their picture taken together, and collected photos of Niki, Karen and Adam, all to be sent in to POS for inclusion in our photo albums. Linda, Carol and Joyce all agree that it was a very special meeting.  They enjoyed their time together and look forward to seeing each other again.
