The Saim-Hann were thin on numbers. The Grav Tank's Bright Lance missed, then four shots were fired from it's Scatter Laser onto the sole remaining Biel-Tan Ranger, his limp body falling to the ground with steam coming from his eyes and ears. The Jetbikes advanced onto the hill, firing Shuriken ammunition into the crowd of Biel-Tan Guardians. Unfortuately only one fell from the great mass of 20 Guardians. The Avatar was still locked in a brutal combat with the Jetbikes. The Avatar couldn't hit them, as they darted around the swipes of the Wailing Doom. The Jetbikes forced two wounds onto the Avatar, then (cowardly) pulled out of combat (it was a strategic tactical withdrawal - Andy).
Durel could taste victory, as the Guardians charged over the brow of the hill, killing the Wraithguard with forty shots of their Shuriken Catapults. The Grav Tank cleaned up the rest of the Saim-Hann Jetbikes. The Biel-Tan Jetbikes inflicted two more wounds on the Avatar, killing him in a burning ball of flame. After seeing their God get pulvarised by three Jetbikes, the Saim-Hann were forced to retreat with what was left of their force. Galactica Prime was safe (for the time being, anyway). The Saim-Hann will learn not to underestimate a minor craftworld.
