Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef, located in Queensland, consists of more than 1000 islands and consists of the most diverse animal and plant ecosystems worldwide. The coral formations stretch over 2500 kilometres and are incredibly beautiful, making the unique reef a popular tourist destination (iExplore 2003).
