Professor Gast The mysterious man behind the Jenova project. It was Professor Gast who found the body of an Ancient, a race of people long thought to have been extinct, buried under many tons of rock. The fossil, named Jenova, became the subject of intense experimentation... and led to the creation of Sephiroth by Gast's assistant, Hojo. Gast never told Sephiroth the truth about his birth, something which Sephiroth will doubtless never forgive. |
