Finally
read got around to reading Possession.
And I don't know if it's the dorky English major in
me or what, but I thoroughly enjoyed this highly literate romance.
It somehow made researching dead Victorian poets seem noble, romantic,
and even exciting.
From
the candy-for-the-mind section of the library, I've recently discovered
the joys of Julia Quinn. There is nothing better in the summer than
a few (hundred) trashy romance novels. They remind you that love exists
in the world (if only on paper), there are happy endings, and sex
makes everything better. Read up! The Bridgerton stories are my favorites;
you can read the first chapters from all her books on her website.
