SSI
SSI stands for Server Side Includes. SSI makes it really easy to change your left and right navigation bars. Instead of changing all the pages, all you have to do is change one! Let me tell you if SSI works with with your web host.

SSI does not work with-Homestead, Geocities, or Tripod.

First, create a page with only your left navigation or right navigation or whatever table you want and name it whateveryouwant.html

next, create the main page, and instead of putting in the table, just put in !--#include virtual="whateveryouwant.html"-- If its in a different directory, just name it as !--#include virtual="/directory/whateveryouwant.html"-- Remember to add the closing tags, i cant add them or else the example will not show up.

Now, instead of saving your main page as .html, name save it as .shtml. Tada! now it is much easier to edit your webpage. I know this because I use SSI, and i love it.

If my information does not work, here are some reasons why
-your server is not SSI compatible
-you did not save your page with a .shtml ending
-the file is in a different directory
