Born: 23 Jul 1936, KEREN, ERITREA
Married to ARAYA TEWELDEMEDHIN
She was born in Keren in 1936 and grew up in Ali Gidr until the age of 14. She started at Ali Gidr arabic school at the age of 9 and went there 4 years.Then she moved to keren. She lived with her grandmother Letehaimanot the first 1 & 1/2 years and then by herself at their house in Keren with her 2 younger sisters Haiget & Mebrat. She went to school another 4 years in Keren, she started 6th grade but she didn't finished it. She got married at the age of 19 and moved to Adi Neamn. She was good in school that why she blamed her parents for letting her married before she finished her education. 4 months after her marriage her father in law died. After that the situation in Adi Neamn wasn't as it used to be.
She moved to Addis Abeba at the age of 21 with her husband and her daughter Yodit.
The first 10 years economicaly wasn't easy because of her husband hadn't got a god job. Then he got a job at Meta Bira bear factory.
