Season One

Episode #1: Nikita

-Nikita is a young woman living on the streets. After being found guilty of a 
murder she didn't commit, she is brought to a government agency known only as 
Section One. She must decide to obey Section rules and stay alive or die. In 
this episode she meets her mentor Michael and is introduced to Section ways and 
is sent on her first mission.

Episode #2: Charity Written by Robert Cochran Directed by Kari Skogland -Nikita is sent on a mission to steal his data files. Nikita learns he is a money launderer and also helping out troubled youths. Only after she begins to fall in love with him does she learns that he is actually a child-slave trader. Now her loyalties to Section and this man become divided.

Episode #3: Love Written by Michael Loceff Directed by John Cassar -Nikita and Michael must play a married couple in order to recover smuggled canisters of deadly gas. Time may be running out when Nikita must find the bomb, which is wired to a bomb in the train station.

Episode #4: Simone Written by Michael Loceff Directed by Jerry Ciccoritti -A terrorist group known as the glass curtain has recruited members into the team through the internet. Nikita must enter Glass Curtain disguised. She discovers that Michael's wife she never knew he had is being held hostage. Now Michael must free her and infiltrate Glass Curtain.

Episode #5: Friend Written by Naomi Janzen Directed by Guy Magar -Section One must protect Jovan Mijovich, a peace negotiator and politician to negotiate peace in some countries. Nikita must uncover who is trying to assassinate him and is recognized by her child hood friend, Julie. She attempts to create a new identity for Julie in order to keep her alive from Section. Nikita discovers that Julie is one of the operatives from the organization that is attempting to assassinate Mijovich

Episode #6: Treason Written by Robert Cochran Directed by Jerry Ciccoritti -Section One attempts to capture a man named Suba who is carrying uranium waste for profit. The first try to capture him goes wrong and Nikita is blamed for it. Nikita the uncovers that truth that there is someone in Section working with Suba. However it is someone who is being manipulated because Suba is holding his son hostage. Now Nikita must make the decision to save the hostage.

Episode #7: Mother Written by Naomi Janzen Directed by Guy Magar -A while back a man killed many Section operatives and now he has stolen a nuclear trigger. Section One sends Nikita in as the long lost daughter of this man and his wife in order to recover the trigger. However, now she has put the life of the mother and her own in danger.

Episode #8: Escape Written by Andrew Dettman and Daniel Truly Directed by Bloomfield -Nikita is confronted by another section operative to escape. Nikita knows this may be her only opportunity to escape and the story checks out. When she has finally made her choice, Michael begins to make romantic gestures towards Nikita . Now Nikita must decide to escape or stay with the man that she loves, but is he just toying with her or can he truly mean what he is saying?

Episode #9: Gray Written by Robert Cochran Directed by Ken Girotti -Section One's agent directories have been stolen. Now Michael must go to Prague and get the files back. Unfortunately the man who has stolen the information was intercepted and killed by another man seeking the same information. It's discovered that the files were left with a man who is unknowingly carrying the files. Nikita is sent in to retrieve the files from this man, Gray Wellman. She discovers she has feelings for this man but her relationship may interfere with her abilities.

Episode #10: Choice Written by Michael Loceff Directed by George Bloomfield -There has been a massacre of heroin dealers who steal money and drugs as an embezzlement scheme. The CIA believes that it's one of their agents who is responsible. It is Section One's job to clear everything out but Nikita's relationship with Gray is creating bigger obstacles for Nikita to perform for Section. At one point, the problem becomes so big Nikita has to choose between Section One and the man she has begun to fall in love with. Who will she choose?

Episode #11: Rescue Written by Peter Bellwood Directed by Ken Girotti -Section One is forced to leave behind Michael during a mission in which Section destroys a chemical-weapons plant in the former Soviet bloc country. Michael is wounded but manages to hide out at Nurse Angie Georgiev's house. Nikita and Madeline pose as saleswoman to enter the country and retrieve Michael. Madeline's identity is blown by a military official and now Michael must convince Angie to help them escape.

Episode #12: Innocent Written by Michael Loceff Directed by George Bloomfield. -A nuclear bomb is brought into a major city in North America and the city is being taken hostage by the terrorist group. However, the bomb transfer was seen by a simple man named Rudy the pizza deliveryman. He was interrogated by Section One but they can't get anything out of him. Nikita believes his story and Rudy will die if Nikita can't prove to Operations that the bomb can be deactivated with Rudy's help.

Episode #13: Gambit Written by Michael Loceff Directed by Jon Cassar -Section One tries to retrieve the thief and the stolen Cobalt 60 during one of their missions. They end up losing the Cobalt 60 but manage to capture a strong and powerful terrorist, Gregor Kressler. Madeline must interrogate him but Kressler's own knowledge about Madeline defeats Madeline at her own game. She manages to gain control when she introduces hi to the daughter he's never seen. When he escapes by killing his daughter, Madeline must risk her life and confront him alone.

Episode #14: Recruit Written by Larry Raskin Directed by Reza Badiyi -Nikita is assigned to evaluate Karyn. a potential operative coming to the end of her two year training period. During a mission, Karyn's trainer ends up dead and Karyn is the killer. When Nikita confronts her about this, Karyn claims she was raped by him, Everyone at Section One seems to accept her and like her and it makes Nikita's job more difficult which is what to do with Karyn. Nikita will stop at nothing to uncover her past.

Episode #15: Obsessed Written by Robert Cochran Directed by T.J Scott -David Fanning is a skilled hit man and he possesses "The Book," which is a collection of top-secret information damaging to Western governments. If this information is released, then Section will be exposed. They must get the file without making an attempt at Fannings life which will trigger the release of The Book. Section will get the job done at any costs and it is done through his emotionally abused girlfriend. They must do this to secure her loyalty but her emotional stability may expose Section One for good.

Episode #16: Missing Written by Naomi Janzen Directed by Reza Baidyi -There have always been criminal organizations, which have stolen classified files. Section is one of the victims and now Section One is forced to retrieve the information and kill off the group. However, one of the members is Steven Wolfe, Operations son. Operations asks Nikita to keep Steven alive and Nikita agrees only if she can leave Section One forever. He agrees and Nikita threatens to kill his son if he doesn't keep his word. Nikita doesn't know that Michael is involved in this too.

Episode #17: Noise Written by Michael Loceff Directed by T.J Scott -On a mission to tag a stockpile of Stinger missiles, the Section One van is breached and Birkoff must defend himself for the first time. His new fear of being killed while on a mission is keeping him from doing his job efficiently and Section One will have him cancelled unless Birkoff can learn to overcome his fears.

Episode #18: Voices Written by Maurice Hurley Directed by David Warry-Smith -Nikita is sent on an undercover mission in Central Europe. When she is there she is confronted by a rapist that Nikita easily subdues. O'Brien is a cop who has been tracking down this rapist for many years and he realizes the woman who stopped this man is not an ordinary one. O'Brien manages to find Nikita and her true identity. Now he will have to be cancelled unless she can turn this problem into an advantage.

Episode #19: War Written by Maurice Hurley Directed by Rene Bonniere -Red Cell has managed to steal Section One's directory and now operatives are being hit all over the world. In order to stop this, Nikita and Michael are sent to capture Red Cell's computer technician but when they find themselves captured, they are forced to reveal Section One's location. When Michael is threatened, Nikita reveals the location after she Michael reveals his love for her. Nikita finds out later that Section One had used Michael against her and they were planning to hit Red Cell with a big surprise.

Episode 20: Verdict Written by Robert Cochran Directed by Gilbert Shilton -Jovan Mijovich is put into power when he becomes the new premier of his nation. There has been an attempted assassination on his life and Section operatives have been sent in for security. The hit man is taken out but a man named Bruner has taken Mijovich claiming he had raped his daughter. Nikita manages to keep him alive. When Bruner's daughter gives an account of what happened, the reality and accuracy of her story reveals the truth to what Mijovich is done but what will become of the premier? Killing him can be the difference between war and peace.

Episode 21: Brainwashed Written by Peter Bellwood Directed by Rene Bonniere -Nikita is sent to a bartender to investigate him when he suddenly leaps out the building and dies. Searching his apartment they find a device with a helmet, which Section discovers later on is a brain washing device. Nikita is Section's guinea pig and after using it several times, she is being controlled by it. When Nikita and other operatives are sent to protect the premier of China, Section eliminates all of the hit men except the one they never expected, Nikita.

Episode 22: Mercy (Season Finale) Written by Michael Loceff Directed by Joseph L. Scalan -Section One has tracked down Tyler, a dangerous terrorist. One of Tyler's contacts is a man who has created a new undetectable plastic explosive. When Tyler kidnaps this man, Nikita is sent to kill the man, but Nikita's belief in the creator of the explosives innocence keeps her from killing him. Operations decides that Nikita's behaviour has crossed the line and so she is sent on a suicide mission with other operatives. Without Operations knowing, Michael saves Nikita and gives her her freedom, but her new freedom will change their lives forever.
