Episode #45 "Looking for Michael" Nikita's life is spared by Section but her life may still be in danger while she is sent on suicide missions. In her attempt to protect herself she accesses Michael's files and visits his home but when she discovers his home and his family she is forced into the role of family friend.Episode #46 "Someone Else's Shadow" Salla Vacek has been Sections hardest target since he is so heavily guarded. However, Michael has established a profile with his daughter Elena and has been married to her with a son, Adam. They use Vacek's desire to meet his daughter to get him to show himself but he has eluded Section for many years and he is not yet ready to leave himself weakened.
Episode #47 "Opening Night Jitters" Michael's mission in Section is to kill Vacek. Elena is Michael's wife and daughter of Vacek. Section tries to get Vacek to expose himself for the kill but when he doesn't show up to meet his daughter, Michael must poison her.
Episode #48 "Gates of Hell" After Michael's mission in killing Vacek is over, he is cut off his family. Michael is so depressed by being separated from his son that Section One wonders whether he can handle being an Operative. Nikita tries to help him when she is kidnapped. Michael is her only hope for getting out but with his condition, will he be able to pull himself together?
Episode #49 "Imitation of Death" Section One is after Ivan Chernov who has been working to train children as suicide bombers for terrorist use. However, Section One attempts to stop them by sending Nikita and Michael in. Nikita sold to Chernov by Michael to use her for breeding experimentations. Nikita must also stop one suicide bomber from killing more innocents.
Episode #50 "Love and Country" Operations tries to kill a suspected terrorist running in a campaign who also happens to be the husband to Operations ex-wife. Madeline is sent in to convince Op's ex-wife that her husband, Nikolai Markali is trying to kill her and that he is cheating on her with Nikita.
Episode #51 "Cat and Mouse" Michael believes Nikita is working for Red Cell when he notices her strange behaviour. In fact, Nikita has been abducted by the terrorist group and a double has been put into replace her. Now Nikita must find a way to warn Section of her double.
Episode #52 "Outside the Box" Section One has access to a terrorist group's directory but in order to gain the information they must get an innocent, Kruger, to memorize the directory since downloading it or copying it will destroy the information. Later, Nikita discovers that Section is recruiting Kruger. Now, she will attempt to find out if her entering Section wasn't planned all along.
Episode #53 "Slipping into Darkness" After a bombing, Operation begins to act crazy believing that a terrorist killed long ago has come back. Walter, Nikita, and Birkoff consider taking over Section One. Instead, Michael seizes control. Madeline worries that Michael is planning something devious with his new found power.
Episode #54 "Walk on By" Nikita is troubled when she discovers that Jamie, an old friend, tells her about her mother and her search for the daughter she believes is still alive. Nikita must stop her mother's search before she finds out too much and learn to cope with the fact that she will never know the loving mother she never had.
Episode #55 "Threshold of Pain" Nikita is sent on a mission with a fellow operative when she, and 2 other operatives/lovers are caught and tortured. One of the operatives reveal information about the location of one of the Section buildings and only Nikita and the man who revealed the information makes it out alive. When Nikita tries to save the man from Section, he turns things around and blames everything on Nikita. If Nikita and Michael cannot clear her name, then Nikita may die for something she never did.
Episode #56 "Beyond the Pale" When a position for head strategist opens up in Section One, Operations passes Michael over for the job. When Michael learns of this he makes an attempt to escape with Nikita. When Michael and Nikita aren't safe for long and when Michael is found and tortured, he must divulge the location of Nikita but what will happen to Nikita and Michael when they're both caught?
Episode #57 "Hand to Hand" Nikita is sent to Germany where she will work undercover to assassinate a terrorist who is also involved in a dark secret. He uses young women in death matches and when Nikita becomes involved in a death match of her own, she must face her destiny with death or fight back and free the other women.
Episode #58 "Before I Sleep" Section is forced to recruit a woman for an important mission after one of their captured terrorists attempts an escape and is killed. However, the woman is severely ill but agrees to participate in order to save lives. When the woman begins to enjoy her work but is growing ill, Nikita tries to save her life by negotiating with Madeline who supposedly has an antidote for the illness.
Episode #59 "I Remember Paris" After a Glass Curtain infiltrates Section archives, Section One's location is discovered. Now it's a race against time to find the terrorists or move all of Section to a new and safer location.
Episode #60 "All Good Things" Operations gives command of Section to Michael and asks him to continue missions but for any missions concerning a priority for George. Michael agrees but when Operations leaves, Michael attempts to follow through on the mission and gain favour with Michael. However, with this new power Michael has gained, his relationship with Nikita begins to suffer.
Episode #61 "Third Party Ripoff" Nikita and Michael's relationship sours when Madeline decides their relationship must be put to a stop. When Michael refuses, Madeline strips Michael of his level 5 authority. With Michael's loss of power, Nikita tries to end the relationship. Michael wants two things, power and Nikita but he must choose one or the other.
Episode #62 "Any Means Necessary" Greg Hillinger is a new member of Sections and potential rival for Birkoff. In an attempt to get rid of Barky, Hillinger has Birkoff sent to infiltrate a terrorist group, Soldat De La Liberte.
Episode #63 "Three Eyed Turtle" While serving a mission Hillinger puts an operative in harm's way resulting in his death. Birkoff covers this information from ever reaching Operations and for his discretion Hillinger tries to have Birkoff killed.
Episode #64 "Playing With Fire" Nikita and Michael are directed to stay away from each other on an emotional level. Operations and Madeline believe they may be having a relationship which is against Section protocol.
Episode #65 "On Borrowed Time" When Michael and Nikita are on a mission Madeline and Operations make sure Nikita will never continue the relationship with Michael by brainwashing her. Now, Michael must save his relationship with her as well as deprogramming the new Section monster they have created out of Nikita.
