There is a history to this elevator. I will get all the details and post them
here when we return for our next visit in Dec 2002. The short version of the elevator is that Walt and his wife were visiting somewhere
that had this type of elevator. He wanted to get the plans to build it
for Club 33 but the owners would not sell him the plans. He sent his imagineers
over to observe the elevator and had them draw the plans to copy it. |
