Before you can play any of these games you will have to go to the MicroWorlds web site and download the free plug-in for Internet Explorer or FireFox.  It is on the bottom left side of their first page.

Squiggilus Maximus Version 1.0

One of the first games I've developed using MicroWorlds EX  ( Trademark of LCSI ) is not a competitive game.  It is a one player drawing game.  The player gets to choose geometric shapes and combine them to draw a wide variety of pictures.  They can also change the color of the brush and the color of the background.  It allows the player to become familiar with the number calls for certain colors and see how changing the background color can affect the visibility of the drawing.

Fly Catcher Version 1.0

Here is a game that checks your mouse clicking skills!  It lets you catch flies by clicking on them instead of squashing them.  Click on them and drag them to the fly box.  After you catch them all let a friend see if they can do it faster.  You still have to download the plugin from MicroWorlds EX ( Trademark of LCSI ).  If you have an email address you can open an account with them for free and get a monthly newsletter that will keep you up-to-date on their new stuff.

Fishing Champ Version 1.0

If you just want to play and have a little fun competing with a friend, try this game.  It is a cross between fishing, gaming and gambling.  Luck sure does have a lot to do with winning this one but pay attention.  Some strategy is involved!  It is written with MicroWorlds EX (Trademark of LCSI) and is another example of the type of games we make in the Design A Computer Game Workshop.  If you want some details about how to sign up for it just send me an email and ask! There were 2 classes in 2005, 3 in 2006, 4 in 2007, 3 in 2008, 2 in 2009, 3 in 2010, and 5 in 2011 for a total of 22 classes.  With an average of 12 students in each class I have taught MicroWorlds EX to 264 young people. Most of the classes have been for beginners but in the las two years there has been a demend for more advanced classes from the students that took the basic class and were intrigued with what they learned.
