2011 - Yea! Michael graduated from Eastside in June. He played football this year but his team didn't win a lot of their games. He started to Greenville Technical College in August and seems to like it. 2010 - Michael spent his Junior year at Eastside too. His favorite class is chorus and he has been in the chorus since he started high school. He finally got his driver's license and is driving a little Chevy pickup truck. 2009 - Michael just finished up 10th grade at Eastside High School. He enjoyed his trip to Ohio to visit the grandparents and will miss the little town that his mom grew up in. His grandparents are moving to the big city of Cincinnati. While in Ohio we went on up to Sandusky to enjoy a day at Cedar Point. They rode 11 of the 17 roller coasters and a lot of other rides. 2008 - Michael will be a sophomore in a few months and really likes Eastside. He injured his knee and hasn't been able to go to TKD classes for awhile but maybe he can get back on schedule in the fall. 2007 - Wow! Mikey will be finishing eighth grade in just a few months. He has done well in middle school but didn't play on the school's basketball team. He got involved in TKD and has been working toward his black belt for a couple of years. He has his red senior belt and should get the black one this year. His best friend, John, is also involved with TKD. 2006 - Mike just got his hair cut for Locks of Love and looks really different. Now everyone in the family has donated their hair at least once to the organization that makes hairpieces for children that have lost their hair because of a medical condition or treatment.

2004 - 2005 Finally, Michael is in middle school! Brushy Creek was the best elementary school in the world but time won't stand still even for the best. The first year in middle school requires a lot of adjustments but Michael is doing fine. He is doing well in all of his classes and making lots of new friends. He is still playing basketball with the Upward League and this year his team is The Jazz. His favorite musical group is Nickleback and he got their new CD for Christmas. We hear it every morning when his alarm goes off. |
