The Slums
The
Slums of Midgar City are also known as "The Playground". Parents
can breathe a deep smell of Slums air as they relax on the playground
benches. This gives parents a time to relax while still being able to
watch overthe safety of their child/children. This is the ultimate playground
of playgrounds. If the children of the park start misbehaving and there
is no supervision it has an automatic shutdown system that will kill
all the fun they once were having. But this is only gin extreme cases
because the playground would have to be rebuilt after this shut down
sequence. If older teens aren't interested in the "Shack" they can visit the pillar which is located just South of the playground. At the pillar if you exceed the required height you can experience Hanging by a thread. Its basically a giant rope teens can use to swing off the tower across to another platform. For safety reasons a net will be placed under the swingers. Also available for parents just east of the playground is Heaven's Bar. This is a place parents can get food/drinks for themselves and the family. This playground was designed to include all ages of people and not discriminate on any age group, even the grandparents can come with their grandchildren and have a great time at this playground. This playground provides a sense of free play that allows the visitors to open their minds and take in the world that is Final Fantasy 7. |
The
Slums are a struggling area that survives only because it is visited
only a daily basis by a range of people all ages, varying from small
children to grown adults. This "playground" is for brave adventurers
willing to take risks sliding down the slide of doom, swinging on the
swings of fate, running through the dome of fire.
Also young children will be able to test their intellect inside the
mini sand box at base of the slide. Here they can use their artistic
abilities to create pieces of art. The playground not only offers activities
for children, it offers a place for older teens and adults to enjoy
themselves. Older teens can entertain themselves by visiting the "Shack"
located in the North sector of the playground away from the younger
children. Here teens can experience away time from younger siblings
and get away from their parents. But the shack is monitored, to make
sure activities do not get out of hand in the "Shack" and
that hormonal raises are kept to a minimum. This allows teens some space
but not too 
much
space to get in trouble.
