Gene called from the hotel where everyone was in their rooms packing their things to go to Jamboree tomorrow. They had excellent guided tours of Gettysburg today and he thought everyone really enjoyed being there. They will be leaving for the "hill" tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM on a bus for the 2-hour trip to the Jamboree.
He mentioned that they had been hit up at least 1000 times to trade patches, so he knows the Captain Crunch patch is going to be very popular once reaching the Jamboree. Everyone has been instructed not to do any patch trading until they reach the Jamboree.
He also mentioned that the laundry facilities were not as expected at the hotel, so some Scouts were trying to do some laundry in their rooms. He wasn't sure how that was going - grin.
