July 27 Update - 10:10 AM Central Time

Gene called this morning and said it's hot there now but in the shade it's cool. It's partly cloudy and looks like a chance of rain, but everyone is doing great and no tents were damaged due to yesterday afternoon's lightening storm.

The 15 Scouts that got their names chosen in the drawing to participate in the flight simulator thought it was really neat! All the Scouts can do this, but will need to wait in line.

He thought that some of the boys made it to Merit Badge Midway yesterday but it was kind of late in the day so he doubted they were able to start a Merit Badge at that time. A couple boys visited the Rain Forest and thought it was really neat.

All boys are doing good and having a fun time.

He got a few more quotes from the boys for today:

Daniel K. - "Jambore is fun!"

Cody S. - "Trading patches is fun."

Cory H. - "No comment, but he is having fun."

Scoutmaster - "The troop is working well together and the Scoutmaster is pleased."

His phone battery was running low, so we didn't talk long. He will try calling again tomorrow.
